What changes

fieldWidgetMap's date / datetime entries now load the platform date picker (widgets/date-picker/DatePickerField.tsx: DatePickerField / DateTimePickerField). Everything that resolves a field widget through the map now draws the same face, the text box in the display locale's format with a calendar popover that record forms have drawn since #12641:

getLazyFieldWidget: ActionParamDialog, the grid's BulkActionDialog, and the console FormPage (a consumer the card's census did not name).
registerField / registerAllFields: the record form.

FORM_FACE_LOADERS, the form-only override, is deleted, and registerField is back to React.lazy(loader). One field type, one face.

The value written is unchanged: YYYY-MM-DD for date, an ISO instant for datetime.
No public surface moves: fieldWidgetMap's keys (and so RegisteredFieldWidgetType / FORM_FIELD_TYPES) are the same, and no type, prop, export or language-pack key is added.
The Action designer's preview (ActionPreview.tsx) draws a date-picker shape for date / datetime params, so its "draws what the runtime draws" pin stays true.

Live declarations this reaches (objectstack 34b740f): examples/app-todo defer_task.new_due_date (date) and set_reminder.reminder_date (datetime), and examples/app-showcase's Action Param Gallery p_date.

app-shell ActionParamDialog.test: date and datetime render the picker (no input[type=date] / datetime-local) and resolve 2026-07-19 and the ISO instant the platform validator accepts.
plugin-grid bulkActionDialogParams.test: date and datetime render the picker, and the row patch is { due: '2026-10-20' } and the ISO instant.
app-shell ActionDesigner.paramVocabulary.test: the date / datetime expectation is date-picker.
Outside the claim's named pins, reached by the move:

Item 2 (inline editors, list filters): measured, not built

Grid cell: a throwaway probe (not committed) swapped FieldEditWidget's date entry for the picker and drove the real ObjectGrid.
- The native editor stages 2026-10-20 on both Enter and a click outside.
- The picker loses the typed day on both, because the cell's seam commits staged changes before the picker's commit-on-blur runs. The seam assumes injected widgets stage on every change (data-table.tsx, the pointerdown capture listener and the wrapper's Enter handler).
- Opening the calendar keeps the editor mounted.
Filter rows: FilterBuilder is in @object-ui/components, which cannot import @object-ui/fields. plugin-view FilterUI has no @object-ui/fields dependency, and DatePickerField is not exported from the fields barrel.
Every route therefore needs a new export, prop, dependency or seam contract, which this claim forbids. Reported for its own card.

Item 3 (@object-ui/components' unused DatePicker export) is the maintainer's call and is not touched here.

Tests and gates (at `626ad92`)

Targeted vitest (every fields / plugin-form test that touches registerField / registerAllFields / getLazyFieldWidget / the date picker, plus packages/fields/src/widgets, app-shell utils, ActionParamDialog*, metadata-admin previews, plugin-grid bulk* and inlineEdit*, plugin-detail __tests__, kanban RequiredFieldsDialog, console FormPage*, the schema-catalog form-field census): Test Files 601 passed | 2 skipped, Tests 6848 passed | 22 skipped. date-only-zone-pins-10183: 28 passed.
Build and type-check: the closure build exits 0. type-check for @object-ui/fields, app-shell, plugin-grid and plugin-detail exits 0.
Gates: check-changeset-presence, check:changeset-claims, changeset:check, check:test-path-roots and check:spec-symbols each exit 0.
Lint: eslint --no-inline-config over the 8 changed files adds no error. The 2 errors it reports in ActionPreview.tsx exist identically on the base.
NOT MEASURED: whole-package runs of packages/plugin-grid and packages/plugin-form. Each hit the 290s timeout set on its run, so the targeted set above stands in and CI runs the full farm.
NOT MEASURED: screenshots. No backend was booted in the container. Component-level renders through the real dialogs are the evidence for the face.

Acceptance notes

REWORK round 1: .changeset/12622-form-date-picker.md no longer says the dialogs keep the native input (c184df4). 43 → 41 ineffective dynamic imports; DateField / DateTimeField no longer defeated (fieldWidgetMap now loads the date picker, so its import() of those two widgets is gone; the two entries are deleted from DEFEATED_LAZY_FIELD_WIDGETS, as the ledger asks; bf6bcbe). The eager closure is 39 bytes smaller (3,169,404 against 3,169,443 gzipped bytes).
These comments still name FORM_FACE_LOADERS: apps/console/vite.config.ts (the fields-date-picker chunk group) and scripts/check-eager-closure-budget.mjs (its carve-out row). The carve-out itself still holds, because the map loaders are import() calls. Only the wording is stale.
The pending .changeset/12622-form-date-picker.md says getLazyFieldWidget keeps the native input. This PR's changeset states the new behaviour.
InlineFieldInput.tsx's comment "DateField is its widget too" (about the Edit form) is now stale.
FormPage.sharedWidgets-10179 pins the written value, not the face, so it stays green under ablation A. The face pins are the ones listed above.

What fails: apps/console vite build lists every asset and reports "built", then prints undefined and exits 1. The asset list has no fields-date-picker-* chunk, so a post-build check in apps/console/vite.config.ts most likely fails. The fields-date-picker chunk group and its carve-out in scripts/check-eager-closure-budget.mjs were declared for the picker as a form-only import().
What happens next: the same cloud session reproduces the console build, fixes the root cause, and pushes in this round. It must not relax or delete a check or widen a ceiling. The two files above join the surface for this item only, if the right fix is the chunk declaration.
