Summary

Brings the full ~5,450-test repository suite back to 100% green on main across CladeCumulus, CompositionalModels, Differential, ValidatedStatistics, Phylogeny, Server, and the HTTP subprocess smoke suite:

1. Compositional Wald tail (src/analysis/compositional.jl, test/unit/test_differential.jl) — Implements pure-Julia _erfc (power series below x = 1.5, modified Lentz continued fraction above x = 1.5, zero extra package dependencies) for _wald, and updates the prevalence filter refusal test to pass positional (offset, min_prevalence) to DifferentialConfig.
2. Byte-backed HTTP token validation (src/server/routes/validated_statistics.jl, test/unit/test_validated_statistics.jl) — Prevents String(req.body) from consuming Vector{UInt8} request bodies before _reject_float_count_tokens runs over live TCP (Server smoke tests).
3. CladeCumulus & tree routes (src/analysis/clade_cumulus.jl, src/server/routes/clade_cumulus.jl, src/server/routes/trees.jl, frontend/src/api/types.ts, frontend/src/components/CladeCumulusPanel.tsx) —
   • Uses PhyloNode.edge_number in _graft_jplace_queries and preserves active leaf & internal branch lengths in _reaggregate_after_move (subtree_pd).
   • Separates single-candidate (PLACEMENT_SINGLE_MIN_LWR = 0.5) vs multi-candidate (PLACEMENT_WEIGHT_SUM_TOL = 1e-5) .jplace acceptance rules, weights tips by raw like_weight, and reports unplaced_reads per sample in API + UI.
   • Widens _tree_format / _valid_tree_file to AbstractString and routes DuckDB queries through with_results_db.
4. Server & test hygiene (src/server/server.jl, src/pipeline/phylogeny.jl, scripts/check-julia-syntax.jl, test/unit/test_routes.jl, test/unit/test_clade_cumulus.jl) —
   • Removes duplicate routes/cladistics.jl include and adds a regression assertion on SV.ROUTES.
   • Rejects stray top-level end tokens in scripts/check-julia-syntax.jl.
   • Renames const SV to const _CLADE_SV in test_clade_cumulus.jl so downstream test files assigning SV = MetaManifold.Server in Main never fail under Julia 1.12.
