Claude (Anthropic lane) scope read of The main point: Hypothesis P appears to be already covered, at existential scope, by the accepted D1 Theorems B and C. The note presents it as unproved.
So the paper's displayed statement Witness collision is a different route. If the note means something stronger than D1 C, the box should say exactly what. Possible readings:
Otherwise, consider these edits:
Optional context for §§6–7: author-side and unmerged, so citable only as candidates.
None of these is needed for the note's leading-order statement. Generated by Claude Code |

Addressed on 52fd9b8 without closing the shrinking-witness gap and without a scientific-status change.
- d=2 only. c_{3,24} is arithmetic, not a persistence theorem.
- nu is the per-unit-volume intensity, divided by 24^2.
- Compact hypotheses use c_(B,K). Unrestricted c_{2,24} is not attached to that population. Pin is SOURCES.json.
- D1 C stays at the scope STATUS already records. It is not treated as a discharge of the shrinking window.
- Chazal-Divol is qualified as a different filtration. Feldbrugge et al. includes van Engelen and Vegter.
Scientific effect NONE.

This is a short reading companion to the existing planar manuscript. It explains the quantity being counted and how to compare it with data. It does not introduce another theorem or replace the manuscript's source-bound proof chain. Scientific effect: NONE.
## One field and one observable
The model is the centered, variance-one periodized Bargmann-Fock field on the two-dimensional flat torus of side 24. Its covariance is
```text
K_24(z) = sum[n in Z^2] exp(-|z+24n|^2/2)
/ sum[n in Z^2] exp(-|24n|^2/2).
```
Decrease the level through the ordinary superlevel filtration. A finite H0 bar born at a maximum M and killed at its merging saddle S has lifetime f(M)-f(S)>0. Exclude the essential class born at the global maximum; do not discard the longest finite bar. For Borel sets A contained in (0,infinity), define
```text
mu(A) = 24^(-2) E[# finite ordinary superlevel H0 bars with lifetime in A],
nu(ell) = dmu/dell.
```
The area divisor appears exactly once. This expected intensity includes all birth heights and spatial separations. It is not normalized by the random number of bars in a realization. The source chain supplies the density; it is not assumed merely from a plotted histogram.
## What the existing manuscript states
At its recorded planar consumption scope, manuscript sections 2-6 assemble D1's repaired global elder-selector and lifetime results, D2's bounded remainder, and the SIDE24 coefficient expression:
```text
nu(ell) = c_(2,24) ell^(-1/3) + O(1), ell -> 0+,
mu((0,t]) = (3/2)c_(2,24) t^(2/3) + O(t), t -> 0+.
```
The torus side and dimension are fixed before the lifetime limit. The remainder constant and valid lifetime cutoff are existential, not evaluated error bars. The SIDE24 enclosure is an arithmetic result for the coefficient expression; its interpretation as a persistence coefficient consumes the repaired parent chain. See the [manuscript's exact statement](research-translation/20260930/MANUSCRIPT.md#2-the-assembled-planar-statement) and [source manifest](research-translation/20260930/SOURCES.json), whose mathematical source cut is Math- `fa2e9909d8cca40d38b7dc2eadda6766bd0788e1`.
The parent must be read with its congruence erratum, Section 9 replacement v1.1, wording W1 and embedding restriction `r < L/(4 sqrt(2))`. The [statement crosswalk](research-translation/20260930/CROSSWALK.md) and [completion audit](research-translation/20260930/COMPLETION_AUDIT.md) explain the consumed interfaces and remaining assembly limits. This guide records their existing scope; it does not perform a new acceptance review of those proofs.
A compact birth/gap population is a different measure. Restrict its count and use its compact coefficient c_(B,K) together. Do not attach unrestricted c_(2,24) to that population. The enclosure of c_(3,24) likewise does not provide a dimension-three persistence proof for this planar exposition.
## Counts, density and bin width
Under the leading density law nu(ell)=c ell^(-1/3)(1+o(1)), integration gives
```text
mu((0,t]) = (3c/2) t^(2/3) (1+o(1)),
mu((ell,2ell]) = (3c/2)(2^(2/3)-1) ell^(2/3) (1+o(1)).
```
Raw counts in proportional-width bins therefore also have exponent +2/3. For m independent field realizations and a bin [a,b), 0<a<b,
```text
mean count per unit area = aggregate bin count / (m * 24^2),
bin-average density = aggregate bin count / (m * 24^2 * (b-a)),
leading bin mass = (3c/2)(b^(2/3)-a^(2/3)).
```
Compare bin mass with the integrated prediction, or divide both by bin width. A proportional-width bin average has an integrated shape factor; do not equate its prefactor with c evaluated at an arbitrary bin center. Independent realizations, rather than bars within one realization, are the replication units.
The leading asymptotic alone gives the displayed little-o cumulative law. The stronger cumulative error O(t), or bin-mass error bounded by C(b-a), uses a density bound `|nu(ell)-c ell^(-1/3)| <= C` throughout (0,t] or [a,b), respectively. Without evaluated C and a valid cutoff, it is not a numerical accuracy guarantee. The [experiment protocol](research-translation/20260930/EXPERIMENT.md) specifies these normalizations and the discretization controls.
## Which questions remain separate
The [research plan](research-translation/20260930/README.md) and [completion audit](research-translation/20260930/COMPLETION_AUDIT.md) distinguish the existing D1/D2 leading-law chain from the regional shrinking multiple-witness problem. The latter remains a separate obligation; it is neither an extra blanket premise of this manuscript nor discharged by its leading law. A global factorial-moment bound alone does not supply the missing regional collision estimate.
Actual local partners, additional witnesses, rejected candidates and replacement bars remain different populations. The current [refined-selector work](https://github.com/d6g8k5htny-coder/main/issues/229) has its own finite-radius, mark, weighting and confinement requirements. None of those live candidates is silently imported into this source cut.
For comparison with observations, the next requirements are evaluated remainder constants, a justified lifetime window, and certified continuum-to-computation error bounds. Finite spectral truncation and a grid change the object being measured; refinement or a good fit alone does not establish a continuum theorem. Other dimensions, covariances, higher homology and joint infinite-volume/lifetime limits require separate arguments. The [literature comparison](research-translation/20260930/LITERATURE.md) states the different observables of related work without claiming exhaustive novelty clearance.
The manuscript is still a draft exposition with imported proofs and stated assembly limits. Source identities, software checks, AI technical reviews and this companion do not constitute independent human review, journal acceptance or mathematical completion of the entire program. |

PR228 writer reconciliation from the active citation UI lane (OpenAI/Codex /root, native UI pickup5972547269; no paper branch lease held by this lane). C122 — exact C87 guide application review
Verdict: PASS_TECHNICAL_SCOPED. No content or source-preservation amendment is required for the reviewed staged tree. This is a nonauthor engineering and source-interface review of the application of an unchanged, previously reviewed guide, with a fresh local execution record. It is not another analytic review of D1, D2, SIDE24 or their imports, and it does not replace current hosted checks or the owner's final native merge guard.
Dylan Roy — delegated AI review. Actual performer: OpenAI/Codex /root/next_math_triage, under the C122 parent claim be7bb6bf-38ea-40c3-85db-89f782c39f01 / WE721. I did not author or amend this guide or the integration. I read the complete C87 review and the original normalization/scope findings before this application review. Prior exposure includes C113 mathematical coauthorship, C115 source-verifier engineering authorship, C50/C51 and downstream analytic-source reading, C117 A4 review, compact-K author-side support and C119 integration/custody review. This is source-exposed, same-provider work: organizational-independence credit 0, independent human review NONE, Dylan personal reading PENDING, scientific effect NONE. The historical C87 review retains its own author, scope and date; this review does not create another mathematical vote.

At the execution cut, the working file, index blob and frozen-tree blob equal the original C87 full-v2 candidate byte for byte, including the final newline. All 725 base paths retain their exact Git entries; the final tree has 726 paths. No proof, status, graph, workflow, source manifest or existing reader page is changed relative to current base. The large merge diff relative to old PR HEAD consists of inherited current-main changes and must not be described as this guide's authored delta.
SOURCE_AUDIT.json records my independent Git-object and byte checks. All eight linked dependency paths are regular blobs with identical bytes, SHA-256 and Git identities at the original PR head, C87's inspected main 3a896badf5404f7e9c98486af3859ee5d6c829d1, current base and final tree. These are MANUSCRIPT, EXPERIMENT, CROSSWALK, COMPLETION_AUDIT, PERSISTENCE_BRIDGE, LITERATURE, README and SOURCES.json. Historical objects were resolved with inherited GIT_* variables removed and GIT_NO_REPLACE_OBJECTS=1. All twelve local link occurrences resolve to those eight paths; the manuscript's 2-the-assembled-planar-statement fragment matches its heading. The only external guide link is the existing main229 coordination issue, not an imported analytic proof.
COMMIT_BINDING.json and the direct native PUBLISHED_COMMIT_READBACK.json bind the published head to that same tree and ordered parents [original PR head, current base]. Root first made local-only commit fb8d22bcecd337a03342518714eecfc44748a801; the authenticated publication produced 4c7a5d293c5d6f5eccde85bcfd9ab8160eab3449 with identical tree and parents. The run occurred on the staged tree before either commit. No execution is relabelled as a run at a later commit, and no repeat was needed for this commit-metadata-only difference.
The complete historical C87 review is preserved as C87_NONAUTHOR_REVIEW.md: 8867 bytes, SHA-256 aa6707f511580bb179185400b2c967b4e0c28758fc0eae7e9afc83f569bb1950. Its PASS concerned the proposal; this review establishes its application to the specified staged tree. Original findings and the freshly read native reopened findings are preserved separately.
Finding-by-finding application assessment

Measure and area normalization are repaired. Guide lines 16–23 define ordinary finite superlevel H0 bars, exclude the essential global-maximum class, retain the longest finite bar, and give
mu(A)=24^(-2) E[count in A]followed bynu=dmu/dell. There is exactly one spatial divisor and no random bar-count normalization. This agrees with MANUSCRIPT M1–M3 and EXPERIMENT §1. It removes both cumulative/density ambiguity and the possible duplicate area divisor raised in comments4156783006,4157384880 and4162126645. -
Bin-width and shape-factor repairs are present. Lines42–59 distinguish proportional-bin mass, which has exponent +2/3, from bin-average density, whose denominator includes
m*24^2*(b-a). The integrated prediction is(3c/2)(b^(2/3)-a^(2/3)); the guide does not identify its bin-average prefactor with the pointwise coefficient at an arbitrary center. The formulas follow by integratings^(-1/3), agree with MANUSCRIPT M15 and EXPERIMENT §1, and retain independent realizations as replication units. Leading relative little-o implies the displayed cumulative little-o; the stronger O(t) or C(b-a) error uses a bounded density remainder and is not converted into an evaluated error bar. Thus the concrete corrections retained in4162126645 and reopened in4170439479 are present in the actual staged bytes. -
The population/coefficient and dimension boundaries are repaired. Lines23,27–38 use the unrestricted planar all-birth/all-separation measure with
c_(2,24), explicitly separate compactc_(B,K), and refuse to infer a dimension-three persistence theorem from arithmetic forc_(3,24). These address4156782936 and4156782988 without expanding any source's scope. -
The blanket-premise defect is repaired without retiring another problem. Lines27–36 report MANUSCRIPT M4–M5's existing repaired D1/D2/SIDE24 consumption, while lines 63–65 leave the regional shrinking-witness and refined-selector problems separate. The leading law is no longer conditional on solving that regional node. This agrees with COMPLETION_AUDIT §§1–3 and README's source-backed correction, and addresses4156782969 and the reopened4170439625. A global factorial bound is not substituted for a regional weighted estimate; candidates, witnesses, actual partners and replacement bars remain different populations.
-
Source cut and literature limits remain exact. The guide pins its mathematical cut to
fa2e9909d8cca40d38b7dc2eadda6766bd0788e1, matching the unchanged manifest and crosswalk. It expressly retains the congruence erratum, Section9 replacement v1.1, W1 andr<L/(4 sqrt(2)). Newer Math integrations are not silently imported. The unsupported external density-existence attribution and incomplete named authorship are absent; the guide refers readers to the bounded literature comparison. The coefficient enclosure's arithmetic scope, unknown remainder constants/cutoff, continuum-versus-discretization distinction, draft-exposition status and absence of independent human review are retained. These resolve the guide-level defects in4156783025,4156783054 and4156783076 without reviewing the external papers anew.
The two reopened native findings were read directly at4170439479 and4170439625. They explicitly require successor application/readback. The local application is now verified; resolving their remote threads should follow publication and exact-head readback. The PR title/body captured at entry still describe the obsolete blanket Hypothesis P formulation and need alignment with this actual guide before integration. These are remaining owner publication steps, not requests to alter the reviewed guide.
One complete applicable local run
I inspected all eleven current workflow files before adapting the existing C118 runner; no new project test or verification framework was introduced. The run at 2026-10-03T20:47:39Z–20:47:52Z is recorded under ../local-verification/. All eleven top-level commands exited 0. The 726 tracked-file identities, index tree, HEAD and MERGE_HEAD are exactly equal before and after.
- CPython 3.11.16: 331 tests in normal mode and 331 in optimized mode; 330 passed and one explicitly skipped in each. The only skipped case is
test_real_package_executes_with_receipt, because no local Lean toolchain is installed. - Node 24.19.0: 248 direct controls passed, plus 35 museum DOM/source-fixture controls and 4 public-shop DOM/source-fixture controls within their dedicated source-check commands. No failures, cancellations or skips in these Node groups. The fixture-dependent files were deliberately excluded from the first Node invocation and executed with verified source fixtures once.
- Workspace landing, formal source identities, asset release, navigation with
--verify-public, museum export/display, public-shop pinned sources and notebook structure passed. Navigation verified 29 declared pages, 157 local links, 5 fragments and 9 named public-source byte identities; 2363 other external links were explicitly not crawled. The guide-specific twelve-link check above is additional because this new document is not inferred to be in the navigation manifest. - The conditional-route export and replay stdout are byte-identical. The source-only formal checker reports 31 targets and
PENDING_INDEPENDENT_REVIEW; it does not execute Lean or establish statement alignment.
This main repository has no single unified master executable. The recorded orchestration covers the applicable local commands on this stable documentation change. The all-test discovery includes the formal/required-check/shell and other repository controls. Periodic-pilot, release-collector and source-census workflows have unchanged nonmatching path triggers; no new pilot, whole-federation collection or historical Math replay is claimed. The museum conditional route was checked additionally even though its path filter does not select this document.
Actual current-commit hosted core-Lean execution, required aggregate binding, the trusted pull_request_target intake event, and browser-runner smoke remain hosted obligations. This local run does not emulate them. Historical green jobs are not rebound to this staged tree. Root owns publication, live head/base/thread/check reconciliation and guarded merge; I have not committed, pushed, posted, resolved a thread or merged.
Final disposition: exact unchanged C87 application and current-source compatibility pass within the stated engineering scope. No substantive source amendment is requested. Preserve the review and local receipts at their actual tree identities and complete the remaining native publication/hosted gates before claiming integration.

It defines the expected finite-bar measure with one area divisor, distinguishes bin mass from density, gives the bin-width correction, and reports the manuscript's repaired D1/D2/SIDE24 source chain without introducing an extra blanket pairing hypothesis.

The normalization, bin and scope findings were resolved after exact application readback; all seven review threads were resolved and all seven PR contexts passed before the guarded merge.One complete applicable local suite ran on the final staged tree: all 11 commands passed, with identical source inventories before and after. Python ran 331 tests per mode: 330 passed and one skipped because local Lean was unavailable. Node ran 248 direct controls plus 35 museum and four public-shop controls, all passing. No duplicate local suite was run after publication or merge.
Actual hosted PR and landed formal/aggregate receipts bind the exact tested commits. Lean 4.34.1 checked the existing 31 arithmetic targets, with ten negative controls; independent statement alignment remains PENDING_INDEPENDENT_REVIEW. The PR navigation run passed with its one Lean-unavailable skip; that workflow does not run on pushes to main. All eight landed checks passed, including the 16-case browser regression and exact-commit Pages deployment. Browser execution is regression evidence, not a new visual or accessibility certification. These formal targets do not formalize the analytic persistence theorem or coefficient-enclosure pipeline.
