## Download and install

The current downloads require an **Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or newer) and macOS 26+**.

For newer changes, [automated master prereleases](https://github.com/vznh/capt/releases)
are built on every push. These are development builds; the Latest release is the stable download.
For newer changes, [PR and master preview builds](https://github.com/vznh/capt/actions/workflows/build.yml)
are available as Actions artifacts. Only version tags publish releases; see [RELEASE.md](RELEASE.md).
