Capt captures everything your Mac plays and transcribes it on-device. Nothing leaves the machine, and Capt contains no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or third-party SDKs. The sensitive surface is the audio-capture permission and the code that handles the audio.

If you find a vulnerability, a privacy leak, or a way Capt could capture or retain audio it should not, email 5thf@proton.me rather than opening a public issue. Include steps to reproduce and the macOS version. You will get a reply within seven days.
