- switchboard config opens a menu for models per tier, skipped models, effort limits, agents, prompt history, and the classifier connection. Changes are collected, summarized, confirmed, validated, and backed up. - config set|get|unset change one validated setting from the shell. - doctor, run in a terminal, offers its fixes after the offline report: it asks once before running `claude --version` and the local Codex model check, and remembers a kept Fable answer. Each answer re-plans the remaining questions. doctor --fix runs the checks without asking first. - Launch hints and docs point to doctor and config instead of JSON edits. - Adds @clack/prompts 1.8.1 (MIT) for select/multiselect/confirm prompts. Resetting a file that only pinned values equal to the shipped defaults changed nothing effective, so the menu showed Done and never saved; the pins stayed and could mask a future default. Change summaries now list settings whose pin was added or removed. Removing the effort limit from a profile you created deleted its required efforts mapping, so validation rejected it. "No limit" now writes a full uncapped mapping for profiles without a shipped default. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
