Goal

Make KMServer's full-featured Komga replacement, additional capabilities, and small memory footprint explicit across the website, instead of presenting only a lightweight, compatible server and leaving users to assume a reduced format or feature set.

Changes

  • Unify site metadata, the home page, and the KMServer landing page around the full-featured drop-in replacement positioning, without version numbers in promotional copy.
  • Add CBZ, CBR, PDF, and EPUB badges and a supported-formats table, including PDFium requirements and the distinction between Webtoon presentation and file formats.
  • Expand the introduction with representative enhancements and add a Compatibility scope covering libraries, APIs, clients, existing installations, and additional capabilities.
  • Pair the full-featured positioning with no JVM, bounded memory, and container caches across the landing pages, Introduction, Architecture, and FAQ.
  • Update Architecture and add FAQ entries explaining full replacement versus a lightweight subset and PDF/EPUB handling.
  • Remove stale compatibility version references from promotional pages; the technical target remains on the Compatibility page.

Testing

  • pnpm typecheck
  • pnpm build
  • pnpm exec nimbus-docs check
  • pnpm lint:docs
  • Verified all 41 public routes return HTTP 200 from the production preview.
  • Checked the home page, /server/, /server/intro, /server/compatibility, /architecture, and /faq/ in desktop and 390px mobile viewports.
