Adds Crux, the agent runtime split out of Hive, to hivecommons.dev. Its first public release is v0.1.0, published 2026-10-25. Before this change neither the site nor llms.txt named it anywhere.

• index.html: an eighth card in the Projects carousel after dibs, with a v0.1.0 tag, and a matching SoftwareApplication node in the JSON-LD block. jsonld-contract.test.mjs requires every card to have one.
• llms.txt: a Crux line in ## Projects.
• scripts/carousels.test.mjs: the slide count goes from 7 to 8 and the fixture gets a name list entry.

As decided in the issue, Crux is not added to the "pluk, hotshot, promptargs, rationguard, and dibs each remove a specific piece of friction" sentences or to the family SVG. Those describe standalone helpers, and Crux is the runtime underneath Hive.

Claim evidence

All copy is limited to what the crux README and the v0.1.0 release state.

• "The agent runtime inside Hive, split out for reuse": crux README "What is this?" ("It is the engine inside Hive, split out so other projects can use it too") and the repo description ("The agent runtime from Hive, split out for reuse").
• Starts agents from a short YAML definition, sends them work, stops them: crux README "What is this?" and "Run your first agent". Code: defs/definition.go (ParseDefinition), cmd/crux (run/kick/stop).
• Runs each agent inside tmux: crux README "Why would I use it?". Code: agent/manager_tmux.go:202 (tmux new-session -d).
• Restarts or pauses agents that stall or crash over and over: crux README ("notices when an agent stalls or crashes over and over, and restarts or pauses it"). Code: agent/manager_restart.go (CheckAndRestartCrashedAgents) and agent/watchdog_fleet.go.
• HTTP+JSON via crux serve with a Go client: crux README "Run it as a service" and the api/ package.
• Install paths: all three were checked today. Formula/crux.rb exists in hivecommons/homebrew-hive. proxy.golang.org resolves github.com/hivecommons/crux@latest to v0.1.0. ghcr.io/hivecommons/crux:0.1.0 returns a 200 manifest.
• operatingSystem: Linux, macOS: the v0.1.0 release assets are darwin and linux archives (amd64 and arm64) only.
• "Early software": crux README "Status" ("Current release: v0.1.0. This is early software."). No roadmap or sidecar-default claims are made.

Validation

• node --test passes on every scripts/*.test.mjs, including carousels, jsonld-contract, llms-txt, page-meta and coverage-floor.
• node scripts/update-csp-hashes.mjs --check passes. The JSON-LD block is not hash-pinned.
• bash scripts/check-links.sh --external-warn reports "Checked 192 unique links. Internal errors: 0. External failures: 0."

Read the tree at head 8c05fc6, not just the diff. This looks correct to me.

What I verified:

• index.html:482 adds the Crux card as the eighth slide after dibs; the matching SoftwareApplication node (name: "Crux", codeRepository: https://github.com/hivecommons/crux) is in the JSON-LD block, so scripts/jsonld-contract.test.mjs (checkSoftwareApplications, lines 322–343 — card↔node name and repo match, both directions) passes. tag tag-new is the same badge class Spektacular already uses at index.html:434.
• scripts/carousels.test.mjs:24,655 bump PROJECT_SLIDES 7→8 and add "Crux" to PROJECT_NAMES; full suite node --test scripts/*.test.mjs → 768 pass, 0 fail locally.
• Factual claims against hivecommons/crux: release v0.1.0 published 2026-10-25 (not draft/prerelease); brew install hivecommons/hive/crux, go install .../cmd/crux@latest, ghcr.io/hivecommons/crux:0.1.0, crux serve HTTP+JSON, tmux-hosted agents, restart/pause on stall — all stated in crux README.md (lines 17–50, 111–153); license Apache-2.0.
• llms.txt:16 entry is consistent with the card and node.

CI: links/redirects/test/DCO green; only tide pending. No findings.

Read the diff against the tree at 8c05fc6 and this looks correct to me. Not an approval — a human still signs.

What I verified:

• Markup/CSS: the new card at index.html:479-486 mirrors the Spektacular card (index.html:434) exactly, and .tag-new already exists at style.css:569 — no new styling needed.
• JSON-LD contract: scripts/jsonld-contract.test.mjs:332-343 requires every carousel card to have a matching SoftwareApplication with the same codeRepository, and vice-versa. The new Crux node satisfies both directions.
• Carousel tests: PROJECT_NAMES in scripts/carousels.test.mjs:655 feeds a synthetic DOM (makeProjectDom, line 662), so its order not matching page order is fine; PROJECT_SLIDES=8 is the only count that needed bumping.
• Suite: node --test scripts/*.test.mjs → 768 pass, 0 fail on the PR head.
• Factual claims in featureList: each line traces to the crux README (tmux at L17, stall/crash restart at L24, crux serve HTTP+JSON at L111, Homebrew/go install/ghcr.io/hivecommons/crux:0.1.0 at L43-50). operatingSystem: Linux, macOS matches the v0.1.0 release assets (darwin/linux × amd64/arm64 only).

No other project inventory in the repo (sitemap, other pages) lists dibs without Crux, so nothing was missed.
