EDM-6570: Avoid breaking the guide progress - #877
The guide would be in an unsable state when "Continue" was clicked.
Now, "Continue" is disabled while the guide is visible, and it also has a guard to prevent it from being in an incorrect state.
Made-with: Cursor
Summary
Updated the shared QuickStart UI component in libs/ui-components/. The “Continue” button is disabled when its phase is active and the guide is open.
When “Continue” is invoked for the active, incomplete phase, the guide now opens without resetting its current step or guide state.
This shared component change can affect both standalone and OCP plugin users. No changes are reported in libs/types/, libs/i18n/, libs/cypress/, apps/standalone/, apps/ocp-plugin/, proxy/, packaging/, or .github/workflows/.
The change does not affect the Go auth proxy, container builds, E2E tests, or CI configuration. Test results were not provided.
Risk classification
risk:ask — The change alters functional behavior, and the supplied evidence does not establish that it meets all risk:show criteria. In particular, it changes what happens when a user selects “Continue” for the active phase. The change is limited to the QuickStart feature, but the shared component is used across standalone and OCP plugin contexts. It does not qualify for risk:ship because it changes hand-maintained TSX and TypeScript source.
The QuickStart context now exposes whether the guide is open. Starting the active incomplete phase unminimizes the guide without resetting its state. The phase card disables its primary action while that guide is open.

Summary
Guide state and phase action libs/ui-components/src/components/QuickStart/QuickStartContext.tsx, libs/ui-components/src/components/QuickStart/QuickStart.tsx
The context exposes isGuideOpen and computes it from the active phase and minimized state. If startPhase receives the active incomplete phase, it unminimizes the guide and returns without resetting session or persisted state. The phase card disables its primary action when that phase is in progress and the guide is open.
The guide can become unable to advance in narrow restart and permission-change scenarios; merge is reasonable with these follow-ups tracked.

Explanation
The title "EDM-6570: Avoid breaking the guide progress" matches the main change. The PR stops the guide from entering an unstable state. In QuickStartContext.tsx, startPhase on the already-active, incomplete phase now only unminimizes the guide and no longer resets step, presentation, actions, or persisted progress. In QuickStart.tsx, the PhaseCard primary action is disabled while the guide is open for the active in-progress phase. The ticket prefix is an issue key, which is acceptable and does not hurt clarity. The title is specific and concise, so it passes.

Protect an active replay of a completed phase.
getPhaseStatus keeps a restarted phase marked complete, so this guard does not apply. The card also keeps its Restart button enabled. If the user clicks it again on the first step, the reset clears the presentation and actions, but OrientationPhase does not rerun its unchanged effects. The guide then cannot advance. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
Guard active completed phases too, and disable their card action while the guide is open.

When permissions change while a guide is minimized, its permission-dependent step list can shrink. The active incomplete-phase branch skips the existing clamp, so reopening can leave activeStepIndex beyond the new step list. The phase then has no active step and clears its guide actions.
