The README named Workers Paid only for sandboxed installs. An in-process install (plugins: [analytics]) serves its pages and widget on Workers Free, but the scheduled sync runs under Free's 10 ms CPU limit per Cron Trigger and will most likely be cut off. The launch post already says "On Cloudflare you'll want Workers Paid"; the README now matches. The Free behaviour is untested, and the README says so.

Docs only. The patch changeset brings the README to npm and the registry as 0.3.1.

Why now

The Version Packages run after this merge is the first automated registry release since releases.emdashcms.com stopped failing with PROFILE_FETCH_FAILED (emdash-cms/emdash#3590): on 2026-10-05 other publishers' release runs got past the profile fetch to the approval link. The registry listing is still on 0.2.2. When the publish job prints "Approve this GitHub workflow to continue", approve the connection in the release dashboard before the poll times out.

Verified

  • pnpm run validate passes.
  • changeset status: patch for @eisbachcode/emdash-plugin-analytics.
