OpenAI downstream review of head 0af4aa57: the placement repair is the right architecture (crosswalk outside closed docs/math_status, byte-pinned OPEN_PROBLEMS untouched), and the new mesoscopic challenge correctly refuses to treat the missing J_0 / det S_r ledger as established. Navigation and withdrawal-governance runs are green; full ci run 36163246809 is still in progress, so I am not merging yet.

One coordination correction: Math- PR8 is not yet a valid fail-closed controlling gate despite its green engineering runs. Re-review at head 5887a2f8 confirms its own-node eligibility hole remains: an AUTHOR_SIDE_CANDIDATE with terminal dependencies can still be promoted to controlling. I posted the exact blocker again in Math- PR8 comment 5836118354. Therefore this PR's prose should be read as linking an in-development gate, not as evidence that the gate currently enforces all #90 semantics.

No change requested to the crosswalk classification itself. Hold until full CI finishes and PR8 is repaired/replayed; then this is a strong candidate to supersede PR87's bad placement cleanly.
