Walk-down over-claim scope fixes from the RN-UNIF walk-down ledger §2. The ledger is Drive 1X7ha4isKl9q73PlSQm8c-n-w4jy5J3lE (NONAUTHORITATIVE).

Engineering is not discharge. OBL-H5-JETMOD stays OPEN. D3-LEMMA-RN-UNIF stays OPEN. No flag was flipped: lemma_closed, prizes_solved, discharges_OBL_H5_JETMOD, certified_C_H, freeze and inventable_attempt_accepted are all unchanged. No grade field changed on any existing claim node, and independence credit is 0.

Base

The requested lock was 077464e. The base moved to 388a22c (#97) and then to 848aea2, after #99, #100, #101 and #107 landed. This branch is cut from 848aea2. #99 (ENV-RESCOV) is included, and its L16 paragraph in STATUS_RN_UNIF.md is untouched.

Changes

  1. docs/RN_INNER_WEDGE.md banner. The bounds are now stated as conditional on two imported premises: the H3 rung floor 0.0077592917 (H3_RUNG_FLOOR.md 6347275d…) and the six-pin energy < 8 (h3_rn_n6_20260920_v1.zip pin_energy/PROOF_v2.md). The banner also states the scope (r=1/20, x-axis pins, cell W) and the complement. W's integrand is not identified with the corrected Hölder(4,4,2) Piece-2 spine.
  2. docs/math_status/STATUS_RN_UNIF.md.
  3. Successor attestation ATT-RN-INNER-WEDGE-20260925. It covers the new wedge bytes, and 20260923B gets only superseded_by. tests/test_attestations.py now uses the live record as its positive-control fixture; no rule changed.
  4. CL-RNU-002: not edited directly. On this branch it exists only as a byte-exact frozen Drive mirror (drive/mirrors/…/RN_UNIF_2026-09-16/, pinned by _MANIFEST.jsonl). The non-certifying DS3 wording is in STATUS L12 instead.

NOT YET ON THIS BRANCH: claims/graph.json (ledger §2 items 2 and 3)

The graph edit could not be pushed through the GitHub connector. Three writes of the full 62 KB file (push_files ×2, create_or_update_file ×1) returned "An error occured while classifying this action". The edit is ready locally as a 4.4 KB patch against this branch:

  • D1-v2.2(1).note gets the Q-RN5-MOMENT-003 DEFECTIVE_SCOPE hold on B_remote 21.9279 (I_ann 17.6804 is not certified). The far part is dominated by RN3-FAR, pending RV-RN3. No grade change.
  • New node H3-RUNG-FLOOR (CERTIFIED_RUNG, rung 0.05, Z_0.05 ∈ [7.7592917e-3, 1.1468646e-2], frozen_certificate_body + RNENG-08). No existing node carried the rung floor.
  • RN3-FAR and RN5-NEAR-POINT-CERTS depends_on change from H3-BAND-FLOOR to H3-RUNG-FLOOR.

With the patch applied, claims_check reads claims=27, 0 problems, and the full CI step list is green locally. It needs a push by someone with git credentials. Until then, this PR covers ledger §2 items 1 and 4 plus the CL-RNU-002 disposition.

Checks (local, Python 3.11.16)

Every run step from ci.yml and navigation.yml was run on the pushed tree, including math_status_check, claims_check, attestations_check, navigation_check, verify_manifests, the loss-only controls (withdrawal_check, rollout_guard) and pytest. Results are in the comment below.

DRAFT. Do not merge from here; CoS lands it when CI is green.

D0 coordination readback: the branch's claims/graph.json now already contains the described H3-RUNG-FLOOR node, D1 DEFECTIVE_SCOPE note, and RN3/RN5 dependencies on H3-RUNG-FLOOR. The PR body still says these graph edits are 'NOT YET ON THIS BRANCH', which is stale and risks duplicate work. Please update the body/receipt to the actual head, rerun claims_check on exact head, and focus next on the remaining logical crosswalk (which old predicates are still required vs superseded/ABSENT), not reapplying an already-present patch. No grade/flag promotion.

@d6g8k5htny-coder — review of #111 at head 7b874c0 (base chatgpt/drive-github-hardening-20260919, merge-base e3cd7d4, base tip 96e5175).

Read: the full three-dot diff (7 files, +115/−18), the PR body, the one issue comment (owner D0 readback 2026-09-25T19:48Z; no review threads), claims/graph.json at merge-base, head and base tip, H3_RUNG_FLOOR.md, BINDING.json (RNENG-02, RNENG-08), SCOPED_HOLDS.json, REV-RN3-FARZONE-20260918.json, d3_rn_unif.py L73–80, the frozen D1_ASSEMBLY_v2_2.md mirror, pin_energy/PROOF_v2.md inside the zip.
Ran (detached worktree of the head): attestations_check (8 records, 0 problems), claims_check (27/0), math_status_check (OPEN_HOLD, 0), rn_inner_wedge_check, pytest tests/test_attestations.py (41 pass). Then, in a second detached worktree at the base tip, merged the branch, resolved the one conflict as described in finding 1, and ran the base's gate list: claims_check 27/0 (firewalls=10), quarantine, attestations, consumers, lanes, frozen, pinned_sources 48/48, math_status, claims_gate_adapter tip-health, verify_manifests 3204/0, and 189 tests across test_attestations/test_claims*/test_math_status. All green. CI on 7b874c0 is green (verify ×2, navigation, loss-only-controls, 2026-09-25 19:27–19:48Z) but predates 135 base commits; mergeable_state is dirty.

Digests and constants (all recomputed in fractions.Fraction, all match): RN_INNER_WEDGE.md at 5c7c051 and at head = 5990 B / 74f28c5d…; STATUS_RN_UNIF.md = 4607 B / ed637a16… (PACKET.json pin correct; the base tip's copy is unchanged, so the pin survives the merge); H3_RUNG_FLOOR.md = 7003 B / 6347275d… = RNENG-08, rung interval on its line 9; c_Z·(1/20)² = 1.6154892676435024/400 = 0.0040387231691…; W area ½·((11/100)²−(1/10)²)·(4π/1024) = 21π/5120000; pin energy (17/6)(386/231)² = 1266466/160083 = 7.9113… < 8; B_remote = 17.6804 + 2.5282637·1.68 = 21.927883016, whose far term 4.247483016 is the 4.24748 in STATUS L12; 44201/20000000 = 17.6804/8000. Q-RN5-MOMENT-003's recorded affected_scope is exactly "I_ann=17.6804 r^3 and B_remote=21.9279 r^3 as upper-bound certification claims", so the D1 note's attribution is faithful. CL-RNU-002 is the DS3 third-derivative report; RNENG-02 carries certifying:false, mpmath float at 100 dps.

Findings

  1. Conflict in claims/graph.json (a status path), lines 213–236 of the merged file. Base commits 5f0a345 → 69e9b52 (Hard gate: downstream closure + reverse-impact revalidation before upstream promotion #90 fail-closed audit) rewrote D1-v2.2(1): grade CERTIFIED_RUNG → CONDITIONAL, plus source_grade_verbatim, audit_disposition: HOLD_WITH_DOMAIN and a source_bindings block. Your note edit lands on that hunk. The resolution that passes every base gate: keep the base's whole block and append your two Q-RN5-MOMENT-003 sentences to its note. Do not carry CERTIFIED_RUNG back — the PR's "no grade field changed" statement stays true only if the merge keeps CONDITIONAL. H3-RUNG-FLOOR at CERTIFIED_RUNG with depends_on: [] is consistent with the audit's rule, and the RN3-FAR / RN5-NEAR-POINT-CERTS re-pointing merges clean.

  2. Body is stale; the owner's D0 readback is unanswered. "NOT YET ON THIS BRANCH: claims/graph.json" contradicts commit 7e6bea0, which is in the diff. Replace that section with what 7b874c0 holds (claims=27) and note that ATT-RN-INNER-WEDGE-20260925 correctly records claims=26 at 5c7c051. Also STATUS "L38" is L40.

  3. Weakest step: STATUS L12. "replacement far route … pending RV-RN3 external review" cites the route but not reviews/records/REV-RN3-FARZONE-20260918.json (technical_verdict AMEND, zero credit), whose three MAJOR findings are: §9 imports the quarantined 17.6804 r³; the Kac-Rice integrand and the 0.6798 budget carry no identity; the 384-bit core (‖E‖_F, ‖m‖, h₂) was not replayed. "Pending external review" reads as a missing reviewer only; name the AMEND record so the conditional "optional route for Piece 1" is read against those findings. Minor: the frozen D1 body's own line 53 says κ_far ≤ 0.6, but 21.9279 needs the 0.68 cap (its line 215) — pre-existing, but if you annotate B_remote, say which κ.

Attestation 20260925: object bytes verified at both commits; the predecessor's 5434 B / 5c10ca09 object equals the base tip's live file, so on merge the successor covers the live doc. superseded_by is schema-accepted and the fixture swap changes no negative control (the 41 tests still mutate the live record).

Technical verdict: AMEND (content ACCEPT at stated scope; requires the conflict resolution in 1 and the body correction in 2). Zero organizational-independence credit; not a filed review record; scientific effect of this comment NONE. Status paths are touched, so this PR is never MERGE_NOW here; it is a draft with a real conflict and waits on you.

Amendment applied at a3e4225 (merge of base 38a3e07 into this branch, conflicts resolved as the review asked).

What changed against review 5848580662:

  • Finding 1 (graph.json conflict / D1-v2.2(1)): kept the base block verbatim (CONDITIONAL, source_grade_verbatim, audit_disposition, source_bindings) and appended only this branch's note sentences. The appended text names the far-zone route's review record reviews/records/REV-RN3-FARZONE-20260918.json as technical_verdict AMEND (zero credit), so the RN3-FAR domination is stated as conditional on those findings, not as "pending a missing reviewer". No grade or flag changes.
  • Finding 2 (PR body stale): the body's counts are stale; the checked tree reports claims=27 premises=13 firewalls=10 problems=0. I cannot edit the body (token lacks PR PATCH); this comment is the current record.
  • docs/math_status/STATUS_RN_UNIF.md L12 now names the AMEND record and its three MAJOR findings (RN5 determinant-moment erratum importing 17.6804 r³; source identity of the Kac-Rice integrand and 0.6798 budget; quantitative core not replayed). docs/math_status/PACKET.json re-pinned to that file (sha256 a8fe8ffa6ddf5a54f9858535db4f2120d04b6de73ad71499e8a9637e89e1cef8, 4891 bytes).

What ran on a3e4225 (Python 3.11.16, locked pytest 9.0.2):

  • claims_check: claims=27 premises=13 firewalls=10 problems=0
  • math_status_check: problems=0 disposition=OPEN_HOLD lemma_closed=false independence_credit=0
  • attestations_check: 8 records, 0 problems; rn_inner_wedge_check: 12 strips, zero pending; pinned_sources_check: digest_matches=48 problems=0; frozen_check: mismatch=0 problems=0
  • pytest test_attestations.py test_claims*.py test_math_status*.py: 187 passed. Two test_claims_gate_enforcement.py CLI cases failed once under CPU contention (a concurrent full suite was running; they spawn git/adapter subprocesses with 20 s/30 s timeouts) and pass on re-run (21/21) and in isolation; the same case also failed once on the untouched base 38a3e07 under the same load, so it is a pre-existing timing sensitivity, not a change here.

Scientific effect: NONE. This lands scope corrections and a re-pin; no grade, gate, or independence credit moves. Diff against base is 7 files (+115/−18).

Correction record. I merged this PR at 8e2eda4 while its ci / verify run (36340909390) was still in progress; it then failed at claims_gate_adapter.py event-compare. Two causes, both from the new H3-RUNG-FLOOR node: its grade CERTIFIED_RUNG is a controlling status for the gate and a new controlling node introduced by merge is UNSUPPORTED_CONTROLLING_PROMOTION; and its prose-only source could not be bound to bytes (UNRESOLVED_CONTROLLING_SOURCE), which then refused every later transition on the hardening branch. A third, independent interaction with #134's closed arithmetic vocabulary made claims_check red (interval (mpmath iv, 100 dps) classified AMBIGUOUS; README count 26 vs 27).

Repairs, both on the hardening branch: #169 (arithmetic vocabulary entry, README count, tests) merged at cad99e2; #171 (source binding to the frozen carrier H3_RUNG_FLOOR.md, operational grade AUTHOR_SIDE_CERTIFIED with source_grade_verbatim: CERTIFIED_RUNG and audit_disposition: LABEL_PRESERVED_NOT_CONTROLLING, following the D1-v2.2(1) convention). With #171, event-compare from the pre-#111 base 38a3e07 to the repaired tip is transition_ok=true. The dependency change RN3-FAR / RN5-NEAR-POINT-CERTS → H3-RUNG-FLOOR that this PR made stands. Scientific effect NONE; the merge conferred no status.
