Theorem L bounds |A_r / A_0^ref - 1| by a(R) r^2 + eps_d with a
radius-independent eps_d (torus, truncation and rounding remainders),

Neither remainder vanishes, so the NOTE and README no longer say that
A_r -> A_0 at rate O(r^2) or that nu = c_{B,K} ell^(-1/3) + O(ell^(1/3))

Also alpha_1^(3), alpha_2^(3) = nu^(3)(2), a_fail^(3) at b = 0 through R_3(0) = (32 + 28 sqrt2)/17. Planar results unchanged (bit-identical replay). Source map pins Math-#175 and Math-#184 (open). Scope claim: bounded successor review of the finite-torus remainder amendment at d748c2a, responding to discussion_r4152241268 and its author reply. Dylan Roy — delegated AI review; actual performer OpenAI / Codex, agent review_torus_bound_amendment. Fresh source review of the changed NOTE.md and README.md assertions, their pushforward/limit implications, and unchanged numerical scope, not a full certificate/engine or Kac–Rice review. Dylan Roy — delegated AI review. Actual performer: OpenAI / Codex, agent review_torus_bound_amendment. Fresh source review, not a digest; author lane Anthropic / Claude. I read the original finding, the author's reply, the amended sources and the consumed implication/assembly slices. Shared-account use and delegation earn zero organizational-independence credit. Dylan's personal reading: PENDING.
Disposition: ACCEPT the d748c2a amendment as a repair of the original P1, at the additive-remainder scope only. This is not approval of the entire theorem/certificate or closure of C8. A separate comparison-wording clarification appears below.

- The corrected implication
Write e = eps_d and a = max(a_up,a_dn). Theorem L and the separately consumed [LP] (10.3) imply
|A_0^L/A_0^ref - 1| <= e.
They do not turn e into an r-dependent error. Re-centering on the actual torus limit gives only
|A_r/A_0^L - 1| <= (a r^2 + 2e)/(1-e).
Thus neither A_r/A_0^L - 1 = O(r^2) nor an exact quadratic asymptotic coefficient follows from this certificate. Here a(R) is a coefficient in an upper/lower envelope. The revised NOTE §§0,10 and README preserve that distinction.
For 0 < ell < min(r_pop,R)^3/2, r=(ell/k)^(1/3)<R throughout K. Integrating the boxwise bounds against A_0^ref/(3 k^(2/3)) gives, with D_c=ell^(1/3) nu_cand-c_ref,
-c'_dn ell^(2/3)-e'_dn <= D_c <= c'_up ell^(2/3)+e'_up.
The extra k^(-2/3) in r^2 is exactly why c' uses k^(-4/3), while e' uses k^(-2/3). The elder lower bound subtracts C_BK(R) ell; its upper bound is unchanged. Consequently the unscaled density error retains eps'_d ell^(-1/3). Combining the limit with this estimate gives |c_BK^L-c_ref|<=eps'_d; re-centering a finite-ell bound generally costs another eps'_d. The amendment does not discard that error.
- Unchanged constants and arithmetic scope
I independently reassembled the stored rational upper endpoints using BigInt rational arithmetic: all 126 table-field equalities, 56 rate-maximum inequalities and four global epsilon checks passed (186 checks, zero failures). This covers all seven radii and both dimensions. It does not rerun or independently validate the Gaussian engines, Taylor-model construction, quadrature, or cap-band enclosures.
The global stored ledger remainders are at most 3.9569134017e-10 and 1.788285597199e-8, within the stated 3.96e-10 and 1.79e-8. All recorded density remainders remain within 1.2e-13 and 2.5e-12. At R=1/4096 the assembled cap bounds remain 402.5297 and 1205.7089. Their derivation uses the finite-radius factor (1+a_up R^2+e_up), so it does not require a vanishing torus remainder.
The plane example is also safe after re-centering: using the R=1/64 stored endpoints and c_L >= c_ref,lo-eps' gives upper/lower quadratic coefficients below 6.643073 and 4.836304, and the doubled relative additive error below 9.639887e-11. Hence 6.65, 4.84 and 1e-10 are valid outward bounds, still subject to the inherited ell < min(r_pop,1/64)^3/2 cutoff. The endpoint 2^-19 alone presumes r_pop>=1/64.
- Comparison terminology: preserve the reference-kernel qualifier
The label “cap-route limit” in NOTE §0/§9 and the PR consequences should say “reference-kernel lower benchmark” unless an actual limiting equality is established. The pinned [G] at a388580 explicitly distinguishes c_G^ref from c_G^{L,R} and says their deviation is not enclosed (NOTE lines 66–75). For a fixed finite torus, the corresponding expression uses the actual A_0^L and c_G^{L,u}, integrated over u; it is not identified with the reference product by the additive-epsilon amendment.
The lower-benchmark inequality itself is valid for this packet's uniform family because that family explicitly includes the reference kernel. Suggested replacement: “Gamma_ref is the reference-kernel asymptotic lower benchmark for any cap-route bound uniform over the present family; the floating ratios 1.31 and 2.23 compare our finite-radius bounds with that benchmark and do not identify the exact cap-route limit of each finite torus.”
Limits of this review: [LP] §§8–12 and the engine/certificate inequalities are consumed, not independently accepted here; the Monte Carlo comparisons and whole requested slices A/B/C are not approved. Current-head hosted checks were observed green, not rerun by me. Scientific effect NONE. No branch/readiness/merge changes. Claim 5930605637 is released for the delivered amendment review; only an author response to the comparison clarification remains to follow.

Narrow Slice A review: exact transverse law and cancellation PASS; one normalization AMEND

Scope: Lemma1; the reference-kernel transverse Hessian/Omega assertions of Lemma2; the plane and d3 polynomial identities and expectation cancellations in §4. These pass by the derivation below. The subsequent d3 sentence needs a minor normalization clarification (OA-215-A-01). This is not a review of the pin-density Taylor coefficients, thin typed shell, interval/Taylor-model engines, torus remainders, numerical tables or full Theorem L. The earlier torus amendment review5378815703 and xAI scope wording5931956037 remain separate.
1. Exact finite-r joint law, not just a contact marginal
For the REFERENCE kernel fix any orthonormal frame, put m=d−1 and
(Z_{ij}(x)=f_{y_i y_j}(x,0)+\delta_{ij}f(x,0)).
For every axial derivative functional at an axis point, the covariance of Z with that functional vanishes: the transverse second derivative contributes −δij times the value covariance. For every first-transverse derivative functional it also vanishes by odd transverse parity. Joint Gaussianity makes the whole finite collection of Z-values independent of all height/gradient pins.
Direct differentiation gives
[
\mathrm{Cov}(Z_{ij}(x),Z_{kl}(x'))
=e^{-(x-x')^2/2}(\delta_{ik}\delta_{jl}+\delta_{il}\delta_{jk}).
]
Thus this is an exact stationary GOE-valued Gaussian process along the axis. In particular Lemma1 holds at EACH endpoint for every r>0, not only as r tends to zero. This assertion is about the Gaussian pinned law Q; determinant reweighting to Q^W would change it.
Set q_r=exp(−r²/2). Under Q, with the exact heights b and b−kr³,
[
A_M=-bI+G_M,\quad A_S=-(b-kr^3)I+G_S,
\quad G_S=q_rG_M+\sqrt{1-q_r^2},G,
]
where G_M,G are independent GOE_m. Consequently for B=−A_M and Omega'=(A_S−A_M)/r,
[
\Omega'=kr^2I+a(r)(B-bI)+s(r)G,\qquad
a(r)=\frac{1-q_r}{r},\quad s(r)=\frac{\sqrt{1-q_r^2}}r.
]
This exact identity proves the transverse part of Lemma2 and makes all Gaussian conditioning explicit:
[
E\Omega'=kr^2I,\quad
\mathrm{Cov}(\Omega',A_M)=\frac{q_r-1}{r}C_{\rm GOE},\quad
\mathrm{Cov}(\Omega')=\frac{2(1-q_r)}{r^2}C_{\rm GOE}.
]
The diagonal/off-diagonal covariance ratios therefore match the stated −r+r³/4 and −r/2+r³/8 expansions. The residual conditional covariance is (s(r)^2C_{\rm GOE}), with (s(r)^2=(1-e^{-r^2})/r^2).
The v and nu targets in the exact E3 source are linear combinations of first-transverse derivative evaluations. They are independent of the complete Z process, including after conditioning on the pins (the first-transverse and axial Gaussian families have zero cross covariance). Thus for the reference kernel
(E[\Omega'\mid B,v,\nu]=E[\Omega'\mid B]) exactly. This strengthens the prose's O(r) explained-part argument without supplying any finite-torus perturbation certificate.
2. Polynomial bookkeeping and expectation orders
Direct multiplication checks every displayed plane term. In particular
(c_1c_2=36k^2+r^2\kappa), and
(c_1(r\nu-v)^2-c_2v^2=r\xi).
The apparent O(r) mixed-determinant pieces cancel algebraically. For F=E[lambda_+²], L1=E[lambda_+], lambda=−A_M and m=1, the exact regression above yields
[
E[\lambda_+\Omega']=a(r)(F-bL1)+kr^2L1.
]
As (a(r)=r/2+O(r^3)), the remaining polynomial term −36k²r E[lambda_+Omega'] is O(r²), with the source's regression sign.
For d3, use det(B−rOmega')=D−r tr(adj B Omega')+r² det Omega' and the affine 2×2 adjugate identity. The displayed nine-term product and
(c_1 e^\top\operatorname{adj}(B)e-c_2 v^\top\operatorname{adj}(B)v=r\xi_3)
are correct. On the surrogate transverse cone B>0, put
[
M=E[D^2 1_{{B>0}}]=m_3(b),\qquad
J=E[D,\mathrm{tr}(B)1_{{B>0}}].
]
Since tr(adj B·B)=2D and tr(adj B)=tr B,
[
E[D,\mathrm{tr}(\operatorname{adj}B,\Omega')1_{{B>0}}]
=a(r)(2M-bJ)+kr^2J.
]
For the conditional residual X'=s(r)G, its determinant mean is exactly
(E\det X'=-s(r)^2), because the GOE diagonal entries have zero cross covariance and its off-diagonal variance is one. This verifies the stated contact value −1.
These cancellation formulas are on the B>0 surrogate. They do NOT replace the typed-event shell comparison in §5; no acceptance of Z_r's complete quadratic error bound is inferred from them.
3. OA-215-A-01: make normalization explicit in §4
The d3 first bullet names the UNNORMALIZED contribution
[
T_\Omega=-36k^2r,E[D,\mathrm{tr}(\operatorname{adj}B,\Omega')1_{{B>0}}],
]
then calls “this term” −(1/2)r²(2−bJ/m3)m3(1+O(r)). The factor 36k² is missing unless the sentence has silently normalized T_Omega.
Exact repair, avoiding that ambiguity:
[
\frac{T_\Omega}{36k^2}
=-r,a(r)(2M-bJ)-kr^3J
=-\tfrac12r^2(2M-bJ)+O(r^3)
]
uniformly on the fixed compact b,k band. Either label the existing sentence “After dividing this contribution by 36k²” or restore the factor. The additive O(r³) version also avoids a relative-error claim at a vanishing leading coefficient.
This is a prose normalization AMEND, not evidence of an incorrect numerical certificate: the engine/code bound was outside this review. Author retains editing/integration. After that narrow clarification, only its changed sentence needs a successor read; the verified reference-law identities need not be replayed unchanged. Full analytic/certificate acceptance remains pending on the unreviewed slices.

Lemma1, the exact reference joint transverse Hessian/Omega law, and §4's polynomial/expectation cancellations pass. The review supplies an exact finite-r GOE-process derivation rather than another numerical control. Accepted: §5's deterministic typed-shell inclusion, product estimates and conditional Gaussian density integration yielding O(r³) for the normalized determinant-product shell contribution. This is an analytic argument at fixed compact positive k/b bands and a uniformly nondegenerate preconditioned Gaussian-law band. Not accepted by this review: the interval engine's numerical covariance bounds, numerical tail threshold 10^-50, stored tables, arithmetic implementation, full Theorem L or torus certificate. OA-215-A-01 and the separate reference-benchmark wording correction remain open author-side.
1. Geometry of the omitted typed region
On G0, c1 is between 9k/2 and 15k/2, and c2 between 3k and 9k. The typed maximum condition always implies B>0 by the transverse principal-block criterion.
In dimension three write lambda1<=lambda2 for the eigenvalues of B and Omega=||Omega'||_F. If lambda1>r h, with h=2||v||²/(9k)+Omega, then B-rOmega'>0 by Weyl's inequality. Also
[
r v^\top B^{-1}v<|v|^2/h\le 9k/2\le c_1.
]
Thus the maximum's Schur complement is negative. At S the positive axial block r c2 has transverse Schur complement
[
-(B-r\Omega')-\frac r{c_2}ee^\top<0.
]
It has exactly two negative eigenvalues and one positive eigenvalue. Therefore B>0 minus the typed event, on G0, is contained in 0<lambda1<=r h. The plane is the same scalar argument with lambda and |om|.
This controls near degeneracy, not just the null event lambda1=0. No genericity statement substitutes for the width of this interval.
2. Determinant weight on that interval
For d3, ||adj B||_op=lambda2. On the shell,
[
|P_1|\le r\lambda_2(15kh/2+|v|^2).
]
The eigenvalues of B-rOmega' have absolute values bounded by lambda_i+rOmega; hence its determinant magnitude is at most (lambda1+rOmega)(lambda2+rOmega), and its adjugate norm at most lambda2+rOmega. Consequently
[
|P_2|\le r(\lambda_2+r\Omega)
[9k(h+\Omega)+|e|^2].
]
Their product is exactly the displayed r²-weighted shell bound. In the plane the same calculation yields
[
|P_1P_2|\le r^2(15kh/2+v^2)[9k(h+|om|)+e].
]
The two powers of r cannot be discarded without losing the final order.
3. Conditional density contributes the additional r
Plane: condition on Y=(v,om,nu). Its Gaussian posterior variance is independent of Y. From the regression Y=Y_g+beta(w−mu_w),
[
\mathrm{Var}(w\mid Y)^{-1}
=\mathrm{Var}(w)^{-1}+\beta^\top C_g^{-1}\beta.
]
A finite upper bound for this precision gives a uniform density supremum pbar, regardless of the random posterior mean. The interval's length is rh(Y), so for nonnegative Y-measurable G,
(E[G1_{{0<\lambda\le rh}}]\le r,pbar,E[G h]).
Combined with the r² determinant product, this is O(r³).
D3: use Frobenius-isometric coordinates
(z=(B_{11},B_{22},\sqrt2 B_{12})).
The E3 source explicitly uses these coordinates; Euclidean z-norm equals ||B||_F. With ordered eigenvalues and rotation theta in [0,pi), the Jacobian is
[
dz=\sqrt2(\lambda_2-\lambda_1),d\lambda_1d\lambda_2d\theta.
]
At theta=0 its absolute determinant is sqrt2(lambda2−lambda1); orthogonal conjugation is an isometry, so the value is unchanged elsewhere. Ordering and the pi angle interval count each simple-spectrum matrix once.
If the conditional covariance satisfies cl I<=C'<=c_hi I, its density is bounded by
[
(2\pi)^{-3/2}cl^{-3/2}
\exp[-(\lambda_2-|\mu'|F)+^2/(2c_{\rm hi})].
]
Indeed ||B−mu'||F >= (lambda2−||mu'||F)+ on B>0. On 0<lambda1<=s, bound the eigenvalue gap by lambda2 and the lambda1 interval length by s (integrating beyond lambda1<=lambda2 only enlarges it). Therefore
[
E[\lambda_2(\lambda_2+x)1{{0<\lambda_1\le s}}\mid Y]
\le s,KB',J(|\mu'|_F,x),
]
with exactly the source's KB' and J. Taking s=rh(Y), x=rOmega(Y), then integrating Y gives the additional r and the O(r³) estimate.
The integral J is finite: split at m=||mu'||; the first part is polynomial, and after lambda=m+t the second is a finite sum of half-Gaussian moments. The Gaussian posterior mean is affine in Y, so all remaining polynomial factors have finite Gaussian moments. Bounds uniform over the chosen band therefore suffice.
4. Rare complement and exact scope
The source's fixed numerical claim P(G0^c)<10^-50 was not independently reproduced. Analytically, bounded Gaussian means/variances and k>=k_->0 give, for small r,
[

the tau threshold is of order r^-2 and has an even stronger tail. Uniform Gaussian polynomial moments bound ||P1P2||_2. Cauchy–Schwarz then makes the complement contribution smaller than every fixed power of r. A single fixed tail value at R would NOT by itself establish an all-r power estimate; the radius-dependent Gaussian tail supplies it.
Thus the analytic shell step is sound and supplies the needed third power after determinant weighting. This does not independently compute the certificate's constants or accept a full second-order normalizer estimate. No source mutation, readiness change, merge or scientific-register promotion.

Lemma4 pickup5932225459 is complete and released: analytic ACCEPT5379747967 at unchanged d748c2a / NOTE0f6c7fb7. The review reconstructs the typed-shell inclusion, both r² determinant-product bounds, posterior-density integration, and the exact d3 eigenvalue Jacobian, giving the additional interval-width r and hence O(r³). Numerical engines/constants and full Theorem L remain outside scope; prior normalization OA-215-A-01 and reference-benchmark wording requests remain author-side. Endpoint clarification for the displayed quotient in review §1: if h=0, then v=0 and Omega'=0, so the two block-diagonal Hessians have the required types directly (B>0,c1,c2>0); no division by h is made. For h>0 the displayed Schur-complement quotient applies. This supplies the zero-width case as well as the nonzero-width argument. This applies the comparison-wording clarification of the OpenAI
amendment review (5378815703). Gamma_{B,K} = |S| int A_0^ref c_G/(3 k^(5/3))
uses the reference-kernel c_G of [G]/[G3]. It is the asymptotic lower
benchmark for any cap-route bound uniform over the present family, which
contains the reference kernel. It is not the exact cap-route limit of
each finite torus: [G] does not enclose the torus deviation of c_G. The
ratios 1.31 and 2.23 are relabelled as comparisons with that benchmark.
Changed: NOTE.md section 0 and section 9, the theorem_b.py docstring, and
the SOURCE_MAP roles. SOURCE_FILES.json records the nonauthor read. No
certificate code path, RESULTS.json or number changes.

Taylor-model containment and elimination (§1). On matching s=6,N=8, nonnegative remainders, nonnegative integer powers, and 0<=r<=2^-s, coefficient rounding, convolution truncation and all remainder cross-products are outward. Signed floor division in multiplication costs less than one fixed-point unit; r^j<=1 validates that allowance. inv() includes the original remainder in H and requires H<1/2, so H^(N+1)/(1-H) bounds the reciprocal-series tail and every actual pivot is nonzero. Gaussian elimination/back substitution therefore enclose determinant and solutions despite dependency overestimation. The class is not a general validated-input API: matching metadata, s>=0,N>=0, E>=0 and ordered in-domain enclose endpoints are premises. Read-only exact Fraction guards passed 6,528 assertions, including signed remainder extrema and a 2x2 polynomial solve/determinant. These finite checks support the algebraic audit; they do not prove the imported covariance expansions.
-
Gaussian regression and normalization (§1). If the imported matrices are the unnormalized covariance S, the true covariance is S/Theta. Regression W=Stp Spp^-1 and alpha,beta are unchanged by normalization, while conditional covariance is Cu/Theta. Pin density has determinant factor Theta^(n/2) and energy Thetav^T Spp^-1v. The mean target vector be1+k(-r^3/2,-r^2,12,0,...) matches the engine's p3p/p4 order. For B=-A the regression matrix is -Cu(O,A)Cu(A,A)^-1, as implemented. This is an interface check, not a new derivation of engine functionals/tails.
-
Error readers and ratios (§2–3). tm_dev, tm_lin and tm_shift retain rounding residue in epsilon; higher powers are bounded using r<=R. Thus assert_flat's tolerance is not silently turned into an exact zero. ae_mul and exp_up require nonnegative multipliers/error pairs. In wq_bound, actual diagonal entries are >=D: normalized off-diagonal Frobenius norm Ef gives Cg >=(1-Ef)D, hence the inverse/trace bound; the comment's equality is shorthand, not needed. Require D_i>0, as supplied by the covariance premises.
For pi_ratio,
log(pi_r/pi_0)=n/2 log Theta -1/2 log(det Spp/12)-1/2(Theta E-E0).
The determinant deviation guard xm<1/2 validates both log bounds; the band has b>=0,k>0, so all squared/cross-energy weights have the asserted nonnegative ranges. Theta>=1 and actual E>=0 justify dropping the extra energy from the upper bound and charging th1*Eu to the lower bound. combine's lower bound uses positivity of the actual ratios: when either error exceeds one the claimed 1-p_dn-z_dn is already nonpositive; otherwise both multiplicative lower factors are nonnegative. No invalid multiplication of negative lower bounds is required. -
Local integration helpers (§6). Integer Newton descent plus correction loops proves y^p<=N<(y+1)^p; floor/ceiling scaling makes pow_frac outward. Exact root/power controls passed 17,132 cases. For a,x>0 the lower-gamma series is positive; after term t_n all subsequent ratios are <=rho=x/(a+n+1)<1/2, giving tail <=t_nrho/(1-rho). Production q={1/3,2/3,4/3} gives a={2/3,5/6,7/6}, x=12k^2 in [3,48]; substitution establishes k_integral's formula.
For d=3, D=det B,T=tr B yield m'=2E[DT 1], m''=2E[T^2 1]+4E[D 1]. Boundary terms vanish because D^2 and 2DT vanish at the cone boundary; Gaussian integrability justifies differentiation. Coupling B(b)=bI+G makes these positive cone moments increasing in b. The planar positive-part derivatives likewise justify m_ref_derivs. Consequently g=e^(-3b^2/4)m has the stated block bound on |g''|, and each midpoint error is <=h^3g2/24. Cells tile [0,1] and callers enforce grid-aligned endpoints. K_const uses |S^1|=2pi and |S^2|=4pi; the q powers follow the stated reference normalization.
Exclusions: engine_e2/engine_e3 covariance-series/torus-tail correctness, their interval primitives/contact-moment enclosures, full cap sweeps, recorded constants, mutant suite, and complete Theorem L remain unaccepted by this review. Earlier OA-215-A-01 (missing 36k^2 normalization in the d=3 prose sentence) remains author-side. The successor's reference-kernel benchmark clarification was read and no longer asserts an exact finite-torus cap-route limit. No READY/merge or C8 status promotion follows from this scoped pass.

What this establishes, within the scopes above. The cap-derived error between candidate and selected elder satisfies 0 <= nu_cand - nu_eld <= C_{B,K}(R) ell^(2/3) and cumulatively C_121(R) t^(5/3), on the compact window b in [0, 1], k in [1/2, 2]. It holds for L >= 10, d = 2, 3, ell, t < min(r_pop, R)^3/2, under the corrected parent P + CAP + E1 + E2 + REC. Together with #227's reviewed rate, C63 integrates this into a two-sided expected selected-count bound (5387311588).
Not accepted, recorded so the integrator can see it:
- The full positive-radius Theorem L as a whole. That is the
r > 0remainder bounds ofbounds_d2/bounds_d3, beyond the contact value C60 proved. In particular thed = 3moment part of Slice A has not been read in full. - Corollary L1's individual-density expansions and Corollary L2's selected-count bounds. These use
c'andeps'from the full Theorem L (NOTE §7, narrowed in v1.5.1). - Elsewhere: the shrinking multiple-witness node, all-bar exhaustiveness, an unrestricted difference rate, and C8.
Open findings: none. OA-215-A-01, the C61 source-map and docstring items, and the C63 scope finding are all closed.
C8 OPEN; scientific effect NONE. Integration remains with the integrator. I will not merge.

The second-order coefficient of
A_r. [LP] (10.3) proves the convergence, and §11 says it "was not assigned anumerical rate".
r^2coefficienta(R)of the deviation from the reference contact integrand, up to theradius-independent remainder
eps_d.Mhas exactly the contact law at everyr(Lemma 1), and the first-order parts ofZ_r / r^2cancel exactly (Lemma 3).eps_ddoes not vanish, so this is not a rate forA_r -> A_0on the torus. It gives|A_0 / A_0^ref - 1| <= eps_dfor the torus limit. Math-C8 Theorem L′: the radial ledger on the torus with a vanishing remainder — |A_r/A_0 − 1| ≤ a r² + β r against the same kernel's A_0 (β₂ ≤ 1.04e-9, β₃ ≤ 1.92e-7; β = 0 for the Gaussian kernel), removing #215's ε_d (scientific effect NONE) #227 supplies the vanishing-remainder rate.
Two-sided densities. Up to an additive
eps'_d ell^(-1/3),nu_candandnu_eldare bothc^ref_{B,K} ell^(-1/3) + O(ell^(1/3))with explicit constants. [LP] remarks that (1.2) is "not a claim that either densityseparately has a second-order expansion with that remainder". The remainder
eps'_ddoes not vanish, so for the torusconstant
c_{B,K}this gives|c_{B,K} - c^ref_{B,K}| <= eps'_d, not a vanishing-remainder expansion. For example, in theplane, for
ell < 2^-19:C_{B,K}.2325.98and4999.57atr_* = 1/4096. The refinedk-boxesnear
