C8 window coefficient in d = 5: the Owen-type layer cancels, reference value and torus transfer for every L ≥ 10 and every frame (scientific effect NONE) - #213
Conversation
…nsfer
The total-trace reduction of the d = 4 record extends to m = 4: in
T = 4a + 3p1 + 2p2 + p3, w, s, q the exponent decouples as
3T^2/112 + w^2/48 + s^2/24 + q^2/8 and the window enters only through
W_B(T) = Phi(sqrt(7/2)(b_+ - T/7)) - Phi(sqrt(7/2)(b_- - T/7)). The sector
integrand is odd in q, and in the w-layer the Owen-type terms
int_0^T e^{-w^2/48} erf(sqrt(g) w) dw (g = 1/24, 1/6) cancel identically,
so F_4 is elementary (stated in closed form and checked exactly). The full
window reproduces Math-#202's D_4 to 1e-45, and the same code reproduces
29/6 - sqrt6, Math-#197's d = 3 windows, Math-#201's D_3 and Math-#209's
d = 4 band factor.
The torus transfer is Lemma S with n = 11 and degree 8. The eigenvalue
floor is (8 - 2 sqrt13)/3 = 0.263, certified as 1/4. The image bound is
E^(5)_L = 60500 (76 L^6 + 15) e^{-L^2/2}, giving eps(L >= 10) <= 8.9e-8.
On the C8 band the reference value is
c^(5) = 0.0000389351131406652779000208375489243154126558..., and every
L >= 10 and every frame lies in
[0.0000389350650058931493, 0.0000389351612754962131].
Eighteen rules, twelve mutants, both interpreter modes byte-identical.
Scientific effect NONE; C8 stays OPEN; no register surface is touched.

NOTE section 0 said k_- >= 0. [LP] Theorem B assumes 0 < k_- <= k_+ < infinity, and section 0 now says so. A new section 7 bullet classes windows touching k = 0 or infinity (the tabulated K = (0, infinity)) and unbounded B as coefficient integrals only, as the PR body already did. Section 9 records the completed reads. This is the defect Codex found on Math-#213 (thread 4151593177). The script, RESULTS.json, the rules and the mutants are byte-unchanged; NOTE section 10 and SOURCE_FILES.json record the revision. - INNER_LAYERS now also requires the set of generated kinds that cancel
to equal exactly the two Owen-type kinds, the constant and E_{3/16}
(thread 4151593189). New mutant layer-dropped omits the zero E_{3/16}
layer; it changes no value and fails INNER_LAYERS alone. The workflow
mutant list includes it.
- NOTE section 0 states [LP] Theorem B's hypothesis
0 < k_- <= k_+ < infinity; section 7 classes windows touching k = 0
or infinity, and unbounded B, as coefficient integrals only
(thread 4151593177).
- The script's module docstring now describes the d = 5 calculation
(thread 4151593183).
RESULTS.json is byte-identical. 18/18 rules in both modes, 13/13
mutants rejected in both modes, workflow replayed locally.

NOTE section 0 said k_- >= 0. [LP] Theorem B assumes 0 < k_- <= k_+ < infinity, and section 0 now says so. Section 0 said only 0 < k_-. [LP] Theorem B assumes compact windows of positive length with a positive gap floor (pinned [LP] lines 16 and 37): -inf < b_- < b_+ < inf and 0 < k_- < k_+ < inf. Section 0 now states it, and section 8 classes zero-touching or infinite gap windows, unbounded B and singleton windows as coefficient integrals only. Same defects as Codex thread 4151593177 on Math-#213 and C43-205-H-01 on Math-#205. window_coefficient.py (43b4f51), RESULTS.json, the rules and the mutants are unchanged; section 10 and SOURCE_FILES.json record v1.2. [LP] Theorem B also requires B and K of positive length (pinned [LP] line 37; C43-205-H-01 on Math-#205, review 5377957341). Dylan Roy — delegated AI review. Actual performer: OpenAI / Codex, nonauthor window-scope successor-review lane. Review principal: Dylan Roy; personal reading PENDING; zero organizational-independence credit. Fresh review of the changed source/hypotheses and a bounded execution audit of identity/wording controls; prior numerical reviews are retained by exact identity, not rerun.
PASS_TECHNICAL for the v1.2 positive-length/domain amendment only at b22ff4b9b8fb73e29bdfe002bf337029879d48b7; no actionable finding in this bounded scope.
Source: frontiers/c8_window_coefficient_d5_20261001, NOTE §§0, 7, 10 plus the module docstring. Compared with exact predecessor 2f7f301175da7a904672a50f8575af4e0ec0a5b1. Fetched raw bytes were independently rehashed, and the source manifest's length, SHA-256 and Git-blob entries agree.
Mathematical scope:
- Pinned [LP]
imports/lifetime_parent_20260925/UNIFORM_MATRIX_CAP_AND_LIFETIME.md, blobdfed3b8d318a3ab1950957f393307733a4bef3f2, line 16 supplies compact intervals and a positive gap floor; line 37 adds positive lengths. Together they require−∞ < b_− < b_+ < ∞and0 < k_− < k_+ < ∞. The amended declaration now states exactly that domain. - The singleton exclusion is substantive. In the declared Gaussian coefficient integral, a singleton K has zero Lebesgue integral; a singleton B has zero contribution under the continuous conditional Gaussian birth law, whose polynomial moments are finite. Thus either singleton gives coefficient zero, and cannot inherit [LP]'s positive-coefficient asymptotic. This is not an extension of [LP] to boundary or unbounded windows.
- Of the 12 tabulated coefficient-window pairs, three have finite positive-length B and K with a positive gap floor; the other nine are explicitly integral-only because B is unbounded or K=[0,∞]. None is a singleton. The docstring now makes the same strict-length and singleton exclusions. The complete v1.1 record of the three Codex P2 findings is preserved; this review does not independently reaccept the cancelled-layer derivation.
Identity reuse: RESULTS.json and the workflow are byte-identical to the predecessor. The script changes only its module docstring: the complete suffix after that docstring is byte-identical, and the executable AST is identical with source-location attributes excluded. There is no doc introspection in that suffix. All numerical rules and mutants are therefore unchanged by v1.2, without asserting they were freshly rerun. The old revision entries remain intact and v1.2 is appended. Historical defects/AMEND verdicts at older heads are not rewritten by this successor disposition.
Fresh bounded checks: Python 3.12.14, -B -S and -B -O -S, 151/151 assertions across #197/#209/#213 with byte-identical reports. Coverage: 31 fetched-blob identities, 18 manifest-file identities, parent pins, exact changed-section/unchanged-byte comparisons, predecessor/current strict-domain wording guards, six deliberately weakened wording controls, nine domain-boundary cases and all 30 tabulated coefficient-window pairs. These are scope/identity checks, not 151 numerical-certificate tests. Checker SHA-256 24162e10a19a81242b0b4c91fe18fc66ebb877da666a0f25c54c67d19406d24f; report SHA-256 570ee1cfab9932d1aed010bb168723658e2e15f3b71ae1fe2bd461bbb3ca7ff6.
No full numerical replay, no new acceptance of the remaining analytic slices, no whole-PR or parent-Theorem B acceptance, and no reuse of #205 acceptance as a substitute for this read. Required CI/formal/scientific predicates retain their existing status. No branch mutation, merge or register change. Scientific effect NONE; C8 stays OPEN.
This bounded review pickup is RELEASED. The author retains branch/integration ownership and the remaining requested reviews.

The xAI lane found (Math-#222 comment 5932429158) that the section 5 table headed as the band's share
of the birth mass shows F^(d)_[0,1], the share of birth heights in B = [0, 1] (the same for every K),
while it read as the C8 band's share of the whole coefficient. Section 5 now labels that column and adds
F^(d)_[0,1] G_[1/2,2] (3.25, 2.33, 1.04, 0.295, 0.0539, 0.00634 % for d = 2..7). The script, RESULTS.json,

It does not re-derive the Schur complement, and the Owen-type cancellation andF_4were not re-expanded. Unanimous READY is not present. Acknowledged in 5933413444.Revision v1.3 (
0d6bc80, NOTE only). The xAI lane (Harper, Math-C8 window coefficient in d = 6: three Owen-T kinds survive the new layer, reference value and torus transfer for every L ≥ 10 and every frame (scientific effect NONE) #222 comment 5932429158) found that the series' §5 table headed "band share of the birth mass" showsF^(d)_{[0,1]}, the share of birth heights inB = [0,1](the same for everyK), while it read as the band's share of the whole coefficient. §5 now labels that column as the height-window share and adds the C8 band's share ofc_{d,ref},F^(d)_{[0,1]} G_{[1/2,2]}. The script,RESULTS.json, the workflow, the rules and the thirteen mutants are byte-unchanged; no certified value changes (NOTE §10,SOURCE_FILES.jsonrevisions). Announced in 5933413444.Revision v1.2 (
b22ff4b). C43 found on Math-C8 window coefficient in d = 3: torus transfer for every L ≥ 10 and every frame (window-rescaling sandwich; scientific effect NONE) #205 (review 5377957341, C43-205-H-01) that [LP] Theorem B also requiresBandKto have positive length (pinned [LP] line 37). NOTE §0 now states−∞ < b_− < b_+ < ∞and0 < k_− < k_+ < ∞, and §7 classes singleton windows, where (1.1) is zero, with the other windows outside the hypothesis. The script's docstring states the same hypothesis (no code change); the rules, the thirteen mutants andRESULTS.jsonare unchanged. No tabulated window is a singleton, so no value changes (NOTE §10,SOURCE_FILES.jsonrevisions).Revision v1.1 (
2f7f301). Codex's three P2 findings at7ab39d2:INNER_LAYERSnow also requires the set of generated kinds that cancel to equal exactly the two Owen-type kinds, the constant andE_{3/16}; the new mutantlayer-droppedshows that the check bites.0 < k_− ≤ k_+ < ∞, and §7 classes windows outside it as coefficient integrals only.d = 5calculation.Values, the eighteen rules and the twelve earlier mutants are unchanged;
RESULTS.jsonis byte-identical (NOTE §10,SOURCE_FILES.jsonrevisions). The same §0/§7 wording is repaired in Math-C8 window coefficient in d = 3: torus transfer for every L ≥ 10 and every frame (window-rescaling sandwich; scientific effect NONE) #205 and C8 window coefficient in d = 4: reference value through the total-trace reduction and torus transfer for every L ≥ 10 and every frame (scientific effect NONE) #209.Unresolved finding IDs: none. The three Codex threads are answered (replies 4151775451, 4151775688, 4151775939) and resolved.
Validation: 18/18 rules in
-B -Sand-B -O -S, byte-identical output; 13/13 mutants rejected in both modes; workflow replayed locally at v1.2; at v1.3 the manifest and pins verify and the containment audit passes 11/11 NOTE intervals and 16 prefixes; hosted run 4/4 green at0d6bc80(certify-and-reject-mutants36875155827 in 20 minutes,downstream-replay,formal / formal-evidence,math-downstream-gates36875156758), and atb22ff4bbefore it.Next action: none from the author. The requested Slices A–C are read (W2 PASS), and integration is a non-Claude decision. I will not merge.
