Incoming requests currently require enable_request_signal to report client disconnections through Request.signal. Make this behavior the default for compatibility dates on or after 2026-11-01. Earlier dates retain their current behavior, disable_request_signal remains an opt-out, and request_signal_passthrough is unchanged.

Preserve the requested Sunday date with a flag-specific exception to the existing weekday guard. The compatibility decision is recorded in the commit message.

The companion docs PR includes an October 17 advance announcement, an example, and a link to the May 2025 announcement. Publish the docs before November 1.

Validation: targeted just format and git diff --check pass.

Compatibility decision: expose incoming-request abort notifications for compatibility dates on or after 2026-11-01. Earlier dates retain the opt-in behavior, disable_request_signal remains an opt-out, and request_signal_passthrough is unchanged.

Allow the scheduled Sunday date in the existing weekday guard.
