Rework the information hierarchy around BAISH as the largest AI safety hub in Latin America, using the September 2026 funding-application material as the source of truth. - Home: eyebrow positioning, four headline stats (300+ members, 28 fellowship placements, 6 full-time roles, 15+ publications), "What we do" pillars, featured success stories, press & partnerships strip. - About: who we are (founded 2024), full track record with placements grid and eight stories, team rebuilt from app/data/team.ts with roles for every member, directors' bios updated, advisors as text cards, funders updated (Kairos, BlueDot, grantmaking.ai/AISTOF, Coefficient Giving via AISAR). - Research: BAISH Labs section (agenda, head of lab, founding team), publications grown from 7 to 16 and grouped by year, research journey ending in BAISH Labs and careers, focus areas aligned with the lab. - Programs: course track record and upcoming courses, community section (socials, WhatsApp, hackathons, career support, retreat, paper club), Frontier AI Governance duration, AISAR card with current stipend. - Contact: press card, Luma link, Instagram follower count, new FAQs. - Newsletter: replace the Supascribe embed (disabled by its free-plan limit) with a direct Substack subscribe link. - Shared data in app/data/impact.ts and app/data/team.ts; new TeamCard, StoryCard and ImpactStats components; 15 normalized team photos. - Privacy policy now describes Vercel Analytics; SEO and JSON-LD updated. - Carlos Giudice is Co-Director, not co-founding director; the directors
heading drops "Founding".
- WhatsApp community count is 350+; BAISH channels are WhatsApp only.
Telegram links leave the home, contact, footer and JSON-LD; the paper
reading club keeps its own Telegram group.
Review fixes:
- ImpactStats takes a layout prop instead of a className override;
TeamLinksRow takes a gap prop. Dead Tailwind utilities on card-glass
elements removed; .card-body-tight replaces the inert mb-0.
- Every impact number flows from app/data/impact.ts through fillImpact();
dictionaries use {communityMembers}-style placeholders. Unused
aisarScholars constant removed.
- Success stories move to app/data/stories.ts, funders to
app/data/funders.ts with a FunderCard component; dictionaries keep only
translated copy. Story link aria-label comes from the dictionary.
- Publications carry an explicit year and are sorted by it. Author
highlighting normalizes accents, hyphens and case.
- TeamMember.id is typed as keyof about.team.roles; Record<string,string>
casts removed. Unused badge prop, labsBadge key and dead advisor photo
paths removed.
- Shared ExternalLinkIcon component; activities page uses withLocale.
- Activities SEO description restores the full course names so the
existing dictionary test passes again.
- README and CLAUDE.md document the new data files and components.

Motivation
The site had drifted from what BAISH is today: member counts ranged from 120+ to 200+ on different sections (the community is 300+), the team page listed outdated roles and bios, BAISH Labs did not exist on the site, and most of the placements, publications and funders from the 2026 funding material were missing. This PR reworks the content and information hierarchy around BAISH as the largest AI safety hub in Latin America, without changing the visual style.
