The homepage listed eight implementation details before explaining the daily writing experience. It now leads with focused Markdown writing and autosave, followed by six concise descriptions: focus, resuming a draft, privacy, named versions, familiar controls, and Markdown export.
The hero's supporting sentence makes the promise explicit. Free/open-source status and the early-stage backup and password caveats remain visible. The demo caption still links to the five-minute writing guide. Project notes record this positioning and the move to active recruitment across suitable channels.
Try it
gh pr checkout codex/homepage-positioning && cargo runDebug builds use
.dev-data/; usewritui-devfor the development vault.Open the local homepage at desktop and phone widths. Read the hero and feature list, then follow the demo caption to the guide.
Validation
Zola build and desktop/phone Chromium screenshots passed. Formatting, all 144 tests, clippy, and whitespace checks passed. Copy only; no app behavior or version change. The existing demo still represents the app accurately.
