This PR documents
cargo desktop installandcargo desktop uninstalland removes the remaining Linux shell installers, their tests, and the Makefile. #1137 removes the oldswitchyard-menubarcrate and macOS shell installers earlier in the stack.Uninstall keeps settings, history, and saved server keys. On Windows, updating a native installation requires a source checkout because Windows locks running executables.
