This PR optimizes:

  • Pattern matching to avoid additional invocations of unnapply methods and creation of objects by casting (through .widen)
  • Error handling so that we avoid additional invocations of methods and creations of functions wherever possible
  • Usage of abstract classes with abstract methods instead of pattern matching wherever possible
