GenerationService selects a model per request and forwards it to Ollama chat. Previously the provider also supplied its default model, causing a duplicate model keyword error before the client request.
Consume the optional override once. The requested model wins; an absent or None value retains the provider default. Tool handling is unchanged.
Validation: 18 focused provider/generation tests, regression red/green, make lint, diff check and secret scan passed. Independent GPT-5.5 review found no introduced blocker, major or minor issue. Tests use the actual provider with a fake client, without network requests.
