Our Company likes to export the content of the table into Excel. For now they have to first export into a csv file and than load it into Excel. They would like to skip this step.
Also Excel is not separating the columns well with the comma delimiter. In Europe the comma is used for decimal numbers. So all columns in the table are pressed into one column in Excel, making it hard to read and work with. But Excel works well with semicolons to separate the columns.
Describe the solution you'd like
Would be great, if next to the export option, you can also choose to just view the export directly. Could be the default program for csv files, if Excel is not installed on the client. Our Company has configured Excel to be the default program to display csv files.
For the delimiter problem: Perhaps make a char Property on TableView to define the delimiter. Default can still be the comma.
