I find that the closing parenthesis symbol ')' gets transliterated either as vertical bar '|' or as dot '.' , mostly the former.
I use this package on Ubuntu 24.04 and Python 3.12.3
Transliteration is being done from ITRANS to Devanagari.
Package was installed through 'pip install' from PyPI.
The character is transliterated correctly in the Aksharamukha online converter.
