Xbox / Xbox 360 FATX toolkit for Windows — browse and extract games from FATX disk images, or mount any FATX partition (original Xbox or Xbox 360 XTAF, disk image or physical drive) as a regular Windows drive letter and copy games straight in Explorer.
A clean-room implementation of the FATX filesystem, built entirely from public format documentation (Xbox-Linux, nxdk, free60).
- 💾 Mount FATX drives — read-only (safe default) or read-write, via WinFsp + winfspy. Works with both OG Xbox FATX and Xbox 360 big-endian XTAF, on images or physical drives.
- 🎮 Browse & extract — open a FATX disk image, search the game list, extract as game folder / ISO / raw. Optional CCI→ISO conversion via Repackinator.
- 🛡 One-time admin setup — physical drives need raw disk access; enable it once (a single UAC prompt) and never see a prompt again. Plain image files never need admin at all.
- ⟳ Built-in updater — checks this repo's releases and updates itself in one click.
Grab the latest XISO-Forge-*.zip from Releases, unzip anywhere, run XISO Forge.exe. Windows 10/11 x64.
Mounting needs the free WinFsp driver — the app bundles the installer and offers a one-click install if it's missing.
