Question: How to use Variants inside a Repeatable Container

Hi,
i use your extension to create a repeatable container with positions that can be added.
Im creating the form programaticly.
I have now struggles to make variants inside this containers work.

Till now i tried this:

$repeater = $positions->createElement('positions', 'RepeatableContainer');
$packagingTypes = $repeater->createElement('packaging_type', 'RadioButton');
$packagingTypes->setProperty('options', $packagingData);

$containerType = $repeater->createElement('container_type', 'Text');
$containerType->createVariant([
                'identifier' => 'variant' ,
                'condition' => 'formValues && formValues["positions"] && formValues["positions"][0]["packaging_type"] == 3'  ,
                'validators' => [
                    [
                        'identifier' => 'NotEmpty'
                    ]
                ]
            ]);

But the Variant is only working on the first element not on the coppied elements.

I also tried traverse(formValues, "positions.0.packaging_type"), but that was not working at all.

Would be great full for any idea!

Hi,
i found a fix for the problem.
The variants are getting validated before the "afterInitializeCurrentPage" Hook. So when the element is getting created you need to reevaluate them.
I did that by adding to the Hook the following:

 public function afterInitializeCurrentPage(

        CompositeRenderableInterface $currentPage = null,
        CompositeRenderableInterface $lastPage = null,
        array                        $rawRequestArguments = [],
    ): ?CompositeRenderableInterface
    {
        $reflection = new \ReflectionClass(FormRuntime::class);

        if ($reflection->hasMethod('processVariants')) {
            $method = $reflection->getMethod('processVariants');
            $method->setAccessible(true);
            $method->invoke($formRuntime); // ruft processVariants() auf
        }

        return $currentPage;
    }

Moreover i added to my Factory to also remove Validations because when the parent Elements Variant was already successfull it would copy the validator to the element:

$quantity = $grid->createElement('quantity_' . $packaging->getUid(), 'Text');
            $quantity->setProperty('gridColumnClassAutoConfiguration', $colums);
            $quantity->setLabel(LocalizationUtility::translate('form.page.packaging.position.quantity', extensionName: 'ticketservice'));

            ]);

            $quantity->createVariant([
                'identifier' => 'variant-2-'.$packaging->getUid(),
                'condition' => 'formValues["positions"] && traverse(formValues["positions"][0], "packaging_type") != '.$packaging->getUid(),
                'validators' => [
                ]
            ]);

And because in my condition I refere to an element inside the copied container i also used the EventListener from this extension to change the condition to fit the current copied container:

As a future reference for integrators using a YAML form definition, this is is an example of how to set and reset validators there:

renderables:

        condition: 'traverse(formValues, "participant") && traverse(formValues["participant"][0], "checkboxHotelAccommodation") == 1'

      - identifier: unset-required-from-default-participant
        condition: 'traverse(formValues, "participant") && traverse(formValues["participant"][0], "checkboxHotelAccommodation") != 1'
        validators: []

Furthermore, ensure that your afterInitializeCurrentPage hook is executed after the hook from tritum/repeatable-form-elements.
