I make games, build tools, and spend an unreasonable amount of time thinking about how things interact.
I’m a gameplay/systems/technical designer and programmer with 20+ years of experience across indie games, AAA development, educational technology, and other ventures. I've worked at CD PROJEKT RED, Housemarque, Arkane Studios, LightBox Interactive, and more.
I like games that give players room to experiment, improvise, and be the best little agents of chaos they can be. My favorite work connects the underlying technology to that freedom: flexible gameplay systems, procedural worlds, and tools that make trying something strange a little easier.
- Joy Engine: My playground for engine development, rendering, and systems-driven game experiments.
- FORM LAB: script-driven procedural geometry and tools for turning an idea into something you can actually play with.
- PARTICLE LAB: particle authoring, live previews, and scriptable effects. Some experiments need sparks.
- And more...
All of this is to support design and development with less friction between the high concept and the playable thing.
