Image Rendering Support - Implementation Plan

  • Analyze current ImageRenderer implementation
  • Update ImageRenderer to detect and handle base64 image sources
  • Add base64 decoding logic for data URIs (data:image/png;base64,... and data:image/jpeg;base64,...)
  • Remove/disable external URL fetching to meet "no external fetch" requirement
  • Create test infrastructure (if needed)
  • Add comprehensive tests for base64 image rendering
  • Test with PNG and JPEG base64 images
  • Create example demonstrating base64 image usage
  • Verify build passes
  • Run security checks
