Since Button Shortcuts were introduced, pressing WritingTools shortcut throws "Please select text to use this option", even with text already selected. Works fine in notepad, but fails in WeChat, browser, etc.

I think that is more of a WeChat issue; when pressing that key combination, the focus on the text is somehow lost, and when the program tries to scan the text, it doesn't find any. This sometimes happens in Telegram.

It will work if you disable any clipboard applications currently running on your system.
