Remote appliance control over a CAN bus — two ESP32 nodes, one twisted pair, buttons on one floor switching relays on another. Final-year E&TC project at Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur (2026-27).

cd sim && python3 can_sim.py --serve # open http://localhost:8765Click a button on the schematic. A real CAN frame gets arbitrated, travels the CAN_H/CAN_L pair, flips a relay on the other node, and ACKs back. The force collision and unplug node buttons demo arbitration and bus-off/recovery — the two things CAN does that a UART link cannot fake.
2-node bench prototype. Works. The honest gap list for a real building is on Hardware-Setup under "Scaling past the bench".
