Check the test problems against their original papers #168

Description

@tachsin

Some test problems in the problem library (see docs/problems-plan.md on the next branch) are implemented from later papers that restate them, because their originals are paywalled or in print only. Their docs say which source defines them. Once an original is read, check the definition, bounds, constants and optimum against it, cite its page, table or equation, and tick it here.

Originals to check:

  • Huband, Hingston, Barone and While (2006), IEEE TEVC: WFG1-WFG9
  • Deb, Pratap and Meyarivan (2001), EMO / KanGAL report 200002: CTP1-CTP8
  • Deb (2001), Multi-Objective Optimization Using Evolutionary Algorithms: OSY's regions, CTP8
  • Binh and Korn (1997): BNH
  • Kursawe (1991): KUR
  • Poloni et al. (2000): POL
  • Viennet, Fonteix and Marc (1996): VNT1-VNT3
  • Deb and Jain (2014), part I: scaled DTLZ1/DTLZ2, convex DTLZ2, inverted DTLZ1
  • Schwefel (1981): Schwefel's functions
  • Dixon and Szegö (1978): Hartmann and Shekel constants
  • Ragsdell and Phillips (1976): welded beam
  • Sandgren (1990): pressure vessel
  • Golinski (1970), with Ray (2003): speed reducer
  • Gu et al. (2001): car side impact
  • Osyczka and Kundu (1995): OSY
  • Deb, Pratap and Moitra (2000): multi-objective engineering design problems
  • Stadler and Dauer (1992): two-bar truss and related designs
  • The originals of the single-objective functions taken from Yao, Liu and Lin (1999) and the CEC 2005 report
