Before: publishing a version required someone to push a
v<version>tag.After: running the Release workflow on master also releases the version in package.json. It creates the
v<version>tag and GitHub Release with the binaries, then publishes to npm. Pushing a tag still works, and existing releases and npm versions are skipped, so a re-run only fills in what is missing.How:
