  • Work status: REVIEW_READY
  • Worker: codex-20260907T230232Z-828d0912
  • Assignment: review-autonomy-rebase
  • Scope: User-directed separate-task review, bounded repairs and verified rebase publication through MERGE_READY.
  • Kind: OPS
  • PR: feat(workflow): align reviews and moderator intake #9
  • Verification: Passed: final moderator/review package tests (28), link/syntax/release validation, workflow scenarios, exact integration tree; current Ubuntu/macOS CI successful. User approved main synchronization.
  • Updated: 2026-09-08 02:15:05 UTC
  • Head: 154a8d9

Summary

The user can direct a separate reviewer to complete bounded review, repair, verification, commits and guarded rebase publication through MERGE_READY without another implementation-worker request. User-origin records preserve original authorship/task provenance; runtime refusals and stale-head protection remain effective.

The user also requested moderator guidance in this PR. The skill now routes designated intake coordinators to the repository contract, sizes issues by coherent outcomes, preserves single-worker epics, keeps held drafts in chat and distinguishes foreign product PRs from owned evidence/policy delivery.

Verification

  • Passed: 28 package tests, shell syntax, release checker, skill validation and link/whitespace checks.
  • Passed: independent read-only scenarios for user-directed review, repair, rebasing, remote drift, implementation-only delivery and runtime refusal.
  • Existing preceding PRs are integrated in main. The integration commits preserve the exact tested package tree.
  • Version remains 4.0.0 under the existing aggregate-release policy; source commits and file hashes identify this update.

Summary
Prepare Commit It 3.0.0 for user-approved worker succession independent of chat retention.

Changes
- Preserve assignment lineage, checkpoints and legacy worker records through approved takeover.
- Define OPS delivery receipts and synchronized purpose and work-state labels.
- Name conversations through supported client tools and preserve honest review ownership.
- Align package documentation and prepare version 3.0.0 without publishing a release tag.

Verification
- 27 package and installer tests passed; shell syntax and v3.0.0 release checks passed.
- Independent eight-scenario review completed; readiness and review ownership ambiguities corrected.
- git diff --check passed.
Summary
Separate implementation readiness from requested code review and merge readiness.

Changes
- Default to implementation-worker requests and code review in another conversation.
- Permit self-review only under explicit user approval and preserve scoped resolver exceptions.
- Add MERGE_READY alongside REVIEW_READY after current review and head/base/check validation.
- Invalidate readiness when evidence changes and keep reviews inside implementation scope.

Verification
- 27 package tests, shell syntax, release metadata and skill validation passed.
- Cross-reference and diff checks passed; historical records and version 3.0.0 are retained.
Summary
Prepare commit-it 4.0.0 for readable operational records and scoped reviewer repairs.

Changes
- Specify canonical Markdown records and audited migration without runtime JSON fallback.
- Allow requested reviewers to repair the same PR with contributor disclosure.
- Allow user-authorized autonomous semantic version maintenance.

Verification
- Package tests: 28 passed.
- Release metadata check for v4.0.0 and git diff --check passed.
Summary
Let a separate reviewer complete the user's requested PR review without an implementation-worker request round trip.

Changes
Document direct user-origin review records, scoped coordination and autonomous repair.
Include bounded rebase and exact expected-SHA lease publication before final readiness.
Preserve original authors, task separation, runtime restrictions and historical evidence.

Verification
28 package tests, shell syntax, release checks and skill validation passed.
Independent read-only workflow scenarios covered repair, rebase, drift and runtime refusal.
