Occasionally still triggers iTunes to start

Haven't quite figured out when this does and doesn't happen. It seems that when it happens it's still caught by mikey but also picked up by itunes.

Once it starts triggering iTunes does it keep on triggering iTunes until the app (using mikey) is restarted?

I suspect SecureEventInputEnable is responsible for the erratic behaviour, (causing mikey IOHidManager to lose exclusive access, hence once the exclusive access is lost it should keep on triggering iTunes).

The following osascript (run from commandline) can be of use to monitor the status of SecureEventInput.

I noticed that iTerm uses SecureEventInput (while Terminal does not) so switching back and forth between the app (using mikey) and iTerm triggers the bug. (once exclusive access is lost, iTunes is triggered on every mikey button press)

I'm gonna add a recurring check on IsSecureEventInputEnabled() and, in case restart the IOHidManager.

So this is strange:

• I opened our app and pressed the mic key, it triggered iTunes to open
• I can close and open iTunes any number of times pressing the mic key - running your script always outputs "SecureEventInput is not enabled"
• I restarted the app and now pressing the mic key DOESNT start iTunes
• Running your script is still outputting "SecureEventInput is not enabled" - that doesn't appear to have changed

This is the same behaviour as the first time I tried it, it seemed to need to be started twice to stop iTunes from capturing.
