Adds Node.js 26.12.1, 24.22.1 and 22.23.4 (released 2026-10-21). Their release notes include "crypto: update root certificates to NSS 3.131.1", which removes the emSign roots affected by the eMudhra key compromise. 26.12.1 becomes the preferred version (previously 26.3.0).

Scope: the default node-js +openssl build passes --openssl-use-def-ca-store, so it already uses the CA store of Spack's OpenSSL and is covered by ca-certificates-mozilla (#7185). These versions matter for ~openssl builds, which use Node's bundled root store.

Related: #7201 (v2026.10.1 backports), #7185 (ca-certificates-mozilla). Older versions are not deprecated here; left to the maintainers.

Tested locally on macOS arm64 (Apple M4):

  • spack checksum node-js 26.12.1 24.22.1 22.23.4
  • spack audit packages node-js: passed
  • .ci/style_check.sh origin/develop with ruff 0.15.11 (as pinned in CI): passed
  • spack spec node-js now selects node-js@26.12.1
  • spack install node-js@26.12.1: built; node --version prints v26.12.1

Prepared with help from Claude (AI). I made the edits, reviewed the change and ran the checks above.
