Fixed in 588a8dc. The failing PR deploy was coming from actions/deploy-pages rejecting the pull_request ref (refs/pull/.../merge); with a custom Pages Actions workflow, the Pages “deployment branch” setting doesn’t make PR refs deployable. This repo also only has one live Pages URL, so isolated PR previews would overwrite the live site. I’ve updated the workflow so PRs still build/validate, but only main pushes deploy. If we want true preview URLs before merge, we’d need separate preview hosting or a second Pages site/repo. No UI change for this workflow/docs update.

Added in c30078e. I created .github/copilot-instructions.md so Copilot reviews now explicitly check that each PR bumps package.json, that the version is strictly greater than the base branch, and that we keep following the minor-version-per-PR convention.
