OpenScraper is a versatile Python toolkit designed for efficient web scraping and data extraction. It offers a comprehensive set of features to navigate complex website structures, handle anti-scraping measures, clean and transform data, and integrate with external APIs.

File Descriptions:

  • openscraper/init.py:

Initializes the OpenScraper module.

  • openscraper/scraper.py:

Core module for web scraping, using the Smart Selector Engine and handling data extraction.

  • openscraper/selector_engine.py:

Implements the Smart Selector Engine with powerful CSS and XPath selectors for navigating complex website structures.

  • openscraper/anti_scraping.py:

Manages anti-scraping measures, including strategies for handling captchas, session cookies, and dynamic content changes.

  • openscraper/data_processing.py:
