Each bot can be individually enabled or disabled from the extension's settings page.
You can add your own review bots from the extension's settings page under Custom Bots:
- Enter a Name (e.g.
My Reviewer) - Enter the Comment text that should be typed and submitted (e.g.
@my-bot review) - Pick an icon — either choose a preset from the gallery, or paste your own SVG markup into the textarea
- Click Add
Custom bots behave like built-in ones: enable/disable them with the toggle, pick one as the Default Bot, and a review button for it will appear on PR pages. Use ✎ to edit and × to delete a custom bot.
Preset icons come from:
- Lucide — generic line icons (ISC license)
- Simple Icons — brand/logo SVGs (CC0)
Brand marks may be subject to trademark restrictions even when the SVG artwork itself is freely licensed — check the brand's guidelines before using a logo in something you distribute. Pasting your own SVG (including company brand SVGs you have the right to use) always keeps its original colors.

- Navigate to any open or draft pull request on GitHub

- Click the review button for the bot you want (e.g. Cursor Review, Gemini Review)

Contributions are welcome! Here are some ways you can help:
Gemini and CodeRabbit currently use placeholder icons. To contribute a proper icon:
- Add a 60x60 PNG with a transparent or solid background to the
icons/folder - Name it to match the bot:
gemini-icon.pngorcoderabbitai-icon.png - Make sure the icon is clear and recognizable at small sizes (it displays at 20x20 in the button)
To add support for a new bot:
- Add the bot's icon (60x60 PNG) to
icons/ - In
bots.js, add an entry to theBOT_CONFIGSarray:{ id: 'your-bot', name: 'Your Bot', command: '@your-bot review', icon: 'icons/your-bot-icon.png', dataId: 'grb-btn-your-bot', }
- In
manifest.json, add the icon path toweb_accessible_resources
That's it — the settings page toggles and PR page buttons are auto-generated from bots.js.
