What changed and why

Requested: the hero (eyebrow label, title, tagline paragraph, three link
buttons, boxed methodological-note callout) read as cluttered. Reduced
to one well-made title and the three status badges -- nothing else.

Evidence

  • N/A (presentation-only PR).
  • No claim differs -- nothing removed here was unique information:
the tagline's claim reappears as the page's own opening line
(docs.md §1), the disclaimer callout duplicated §0 (the very next
section), and the three link buttons duplicated the footer's
    existing Repository / docs.md (source) / Contributing / License
    links, which are untouched.
  • N/A -- no negative result introduced here.

Checklist

  • CI (reproduce.yml) passes on this branch (docs-only change).
  • No claim in this PR is asserted without a script/report backing it.
  • data/meta_dataset.db not touched.
  • README/docs.md updated if this PR changes a number or conclusion
    referenced there -- N/A.

Requested: the hero had grown cluttered (an eyebrow label, a title, a
tagline paragraph, three link buttons, and a boxed methodological-note
callout). Stripped down to what a clean project page needs and no more:
one well-made title and the three status badges underneath.

Nothing here is actually lost:
- The tagline's claim is already the page's opening line once you scroll
past the hero (docs.md's own executive summary, §1).
- The disclaimer callout was redundant with §0 "Methodological
disclaimer", which is literally the next thing on the page -- keeping
both said the same thing twice before a reader got anywhere.
- The three link buttons (repository / verified results / raw source)
overlapped with the footer's existing Repository / docs.md (source) /
Contributing / License links, which stay exactly where they were.
