Problem loading

Hello!
Could you possibly tell me why does Awesome 3.4.13 load the default /etc/xdg/awesome/rc.lua when starting X as user, not root? I have cloned into your git and renamed it to awesome in .config folder. Already changed "rom" to my username in rc.lua.
What else do I need to do so it loads this theme instead?

Depending on your system your problem may be different but here is what I had to do. First off I am running LUA 5.2. I need oocairo for the theme to work so I had to modify the oocairo source to build on 5.2, you can see my comment here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lua-oocairo/. Then I had to create symlinks for 5.1 to 5.2 in /usr/lib/lua and /usr/share/lua. To get the theme to launch. Now I have everything working except I get one error in ~/.config/awesome/vicious/widgets/sensors.xml on line 14. Still working on this error.
