How does the number of days work with multiple days per month save ? #38
I have checked the documentation and didn't find the answer
Your Question
I couldn’t find an answer to this question: if you play with 2 or 3 days per month in the game settings, does the mod count each in-game day separately when calculating expiration, or is one month always treated as a single day by the mod ?
I believe it does. On one screen, a particular period is displayed as months, and for the item in question in my save, it is 3 months. Yet on another screen, it is displayed in days. I run a 3-day month, but it shows 9 days, which would suggest it accounts for the days per period.
Yes. All aging is calculated in the game's "periods", what is displayed as months. So the number of days per month does not affect the aging's speed. A grass bale that is set to expire in May will expire in May no matter how many days per month you use.
The number of days you have to do something with the grass before it is gone however depends on your setting, and is what is shown in the UI. If a product has three months left you'll have around 3 game days to use/sell it if playing with 1 day per month, around 15 days if you play with 5 days per month etc.
The shown number of days left is calculated dynamically, so if you change your days per month setting the numbers will update automatically adjusting for the current setting.

Hi,
This one was lost in all the RL messages :)
