About me

Hey there!

My name is Rishi. I am a master's student in data science at UMD (Aug 2026 - Dec 2027). I have prior experience working in Document AI, including developing an ML-based document classification system for a startup, and a research paper at IEEE ICDM 2026 that addresses the efficiency of late-interaction retrieval systems. I am interested in developing reliable AI systems, that can help the society in large.
