pywhispercpp1.5.1Compiles whisper.cpp (ggml) and its pybind11 bindings. Upstream publishes no riscv64 wheel.
Mirrors upstream's
wheels.yml.Differs from upstream
-DGGML_RVV=OFFplus Zfh/Zvfh/Zicbop/Zihintpause off - ggml enables them unconditionally, pinning the wheel above rv64gc.SETUPTOOLS_SCM_PRETEND_VERSION_FOR_PYWHISPERCPP- keeps it independent of git state in the build container.Testing
pytest tests(21 tests), run inside cibuildwheel against the installed wheel.sounddevice/webrtcvadfromrequirements.txtnot installed - only the examples use them.PYTHON_GIL=1- the extension does not declare free-threading support, whichfilterwarnings = errorturns into a cp314t collection error.License: Wheel bundles whisper.cpp/ggml (MIT), pybind11 (BSD-3-Clause) and libgomp (GPL-3.0-or-later WITH GCC-exception-3.1); upstream ships no licence text for the first two, so the build adds it.
