Compiles the TOSA reference model, the serialization library and the MLIR-based tosa-opt translator, with pybind11 bindings. Upstream publishes no riscv64 wheel.

Mirrors upstream's python_wheels.yml.

Differs from upstream

  • LLVM/MLIR builds only the libraries tosa-opt links, for the host backend - fits the riscv64 runner.
  • LLVM_ENABLE_ZSTD=OFF - upstream's tosa-opt links zlib only.
  • Wheel version pinned through SETUPTOOLS_SCM_PRETEND_VERSION_FOR_TOSA_TOOLS - upstream's own nightly knob.

Matrix: cp312, cp313, cp314 - upstream ships no free-threaded wheel.

Testing

  • same as upstream: import check, then upstream's python_wheels_oobt.py per interpreter.

License: Wheel bundles LLVM/MLIR (Apache-2.0 WITH LLVM-exception), FlatBuffers (Apache-2.0), googletest, pybind11 (BSD-3-Clause), nlohmann/json, cxxopts and musl-derived code (MIT); upstream ships no licence text for them, so the build adds it.

upload-artifact crashes on the oobt-results tree (thousands of small
files, ~126MB): a Node.js buffer bug in the pinned action, not a test
failure. The actual out-of-box test suite passes; this artifact is
diagnostic-only and nothing downstream consumes it, so don't fail the
job over the upload.
