Blank tabs now show a native welcome view over the glass shell: dimmed app mark, time-of-day greeting, and one large glass search input (auto-focused; Enter resolves through BroResolveQueryToURL). While the window holds a single blank tab the toolbar swaps the strip for a full-width search field, mock-style; pills return the moment a page opens or a second tab exists. The per-tab pill address field is removed entirely: pills always show the host label, clicking the active pill is a no-op, and ⌘L focuses the welcome input on a blank tab or opens the command palette on a loaded one. A CefFocusHandler cancels CEF's post-creation focus grab for blank tabs so the welcome input keeps keyboard focus. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Brings agent/native-liquid-glass into the welcome-state branch: native macOS 26 Liquid Glass for the shell, chrome, pills, and overlays with weak-linked fallbacks for macOS 12-25, persisted System/Light/Dark appearance, macOS 26 SDK pin, and the native-surface/persistence/WebGL smoke tests. Conflict resolution: the PR's pill address-field changes (owningTab, pillContentHost_ hosting, editor configuration) are dropped -- this branch removed the in-pill URL editor entirely in favor of the welcome input. Its UI smoke block now exercises label-only pills, and the BRO_CEF_SMOKE_URL hook is kept without the retired pending-focus plumbing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
