What this does

A user hit "Bro Computer Not Opened — Move to Trash / Done" installing the DMG. The README told them to right-click → Open, but macOS 15 (Sequoia) removed that Gatekeeper bypass — that dialog has no Open Anyway button anymore. The instructions now point at what actually works: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or stripping the quarantine flag with xattr.

Docs only. This makes the existing ad-hoc-signed builds openable; it does not remove the warning. The permanent fix is notarizing with a Developer ID, which is a separate cost + credential decision held for the repo owner.

Test plan

  • The Settings path and xattr command both let a fresh download open on macOS 15+ (the reporting user can confirm)

The README told users to right-click the app and choose Open, but
macOS 15 removed that Gatekeeper bypass — the current dialog offers
only Move to Trash / Done, no Open Anyway. Point users at the working
paths instead: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, or
stripping the quarantine flag with xattr. Notarization is the real fix
and remains a separate decision (needs a Developer ID).
