After the latest update of the runner-image,
test_embeddablehas started failing on MinGW in main - https://github.com/python-pillow/Pillow/actions/runs/36274049311/job/108493249802Before this, the test wasn't passing. Option 1. We could mark it as xfail. #10067
Option 2. We try and fix it. I noticed a commit in @hugovk's fork, and have added a simplifying change onto it here. This isn't ready for merging yet.
PyImport_ImportModuleis returningNULL.
