I regenerated the experimental App Server protocol from the exact released Codex CLI 0.153.4 and updated the version, provenance, README, and changelog. This adds 33 client RPCs and 14 notifications, including server-managed queues, projects/sections, timeline history, asynchronous questions, expanded realtime/MCP/Bedrock support, and notification-envelope emission timestamps.
Consumer migration points include item-list results changing to
{ turnId, item }envelopes,isBlockingon user-input requests, the structured denied review decision, Bedrock account changes, and additional required nullable response fields. Historical item timestamps are still absent; the README documents the upstream gap and proposal.I verified the binary reports
codex-cli 0.153.4, performed clean-room regeneration (827 TypeScript files), and passedpnpm typecheck,pnpm dlx publint@0.3.21, and whitespace checks. All commits are signed. After CI, I will release v0.153.4 through the repository’s npm OIDC workflow.
