Text to beautiful mind maps. Ask Cursor for a mind map, get a Markdown outline, a polished SVG, and a live link on mindmaply.app where you can pan, zoom, edit, and share it.
Same renderer as the Mindmaply editor, driven by the mindmaply CLI from
mindmaply-core. Everything renders on your
machine; nothing is uploaded.
After you install the plugin, Cursor loads its skill and slash command for your workspace.
- Skill
mindmaply-cursor— When you ask for a mind map, concept map, org chart, or flowchart, the agent writes a structured Markdown outline, validates it, renders it withnpx -y mindmaply-core@latest render, and returns a share link and editor link. - Command
/mindmaply— Same workflow from Chat or Agent, e.g./mindmaply high-level architecture for this repo.
Default outputs are mindmaps/<topic-slug>.md and mindmaps/<topic-slug>.svg at the project
root, plus the links. The SVG is a static image; the link is the live map.
