feat(web): allow shortcuts for archive and delete - #31127
The existing archive and delete thread actions cannot be assigned keyboard shortcuts. Keyboard users must use the thread menu to invoke them.
Change
Adds thread.archive and thread.delete as configurable commands for the current saved thread. Neither has a default shortcut; new bindings start with !terminalFocus. Both keyboard and menu actions use the same confirmation and lifecycle paths, including the destructive delete confirmation.
This is a focused configuration option for existing thread actions; it does not add a default binding or change the actions themselves. Related: #31126. An earlier proposal was closed without merging: #11651.
Verification
vp run check:changed passed: formatting, lint, knip, typechecking, changed-file tests (143 passed), and React compiler checks.
Shortcut resolution tests check that each command is unbound by default and that a binding with !terminalFocus resolves outside the terminal but not while the terminal is focused, following the existing Settle shortcut test.
Integrated manual client verification and before/after UI evidence have not been completed.
Built with GPT-6.1 Terra using the Codex harness in T3 Code.
Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — Adds opt-in archive/delete shortcuts that respect existing confirmation settings. New bindings default to being inactive while the terminal is focused; that product-default choice requires human review.

Walkthrough
The change adds configurable thread.archive and thread.delete commands, applies terminal-focus conditions to new bindings, and connects the commands to actions in the active thread lifecycle. The action menu delegates archive and delete operations to confirmation methods.
The command list includes thread.archive and thread.delete. New bindings for these commands receive !terminalFocus unless the condition is edited manually. Tests cover command resolution and condition editing. Documentation describes the commands and their confirmation behavior.
Delegate menu actions through confirmation methods apps/web/src/hooks/useThreadActions.ts, apps/web/src/hooks/useThreadActionMenu.ts, apps/web/src/hooks/useThreadActionMenu.test.ts
The action menu calls confirmation methods for archive and delete. The archive confirmation method checks permission and target availability, optionally prompts, and then delegates to archiving.
Run archive and delete from shortcuts apps/web/src/components/chat/useThreadLifecycle.tsx
The thread lifecycle adds archive and delete shortcuts. Both check permissions and thread state, reject repeated or overlapping events, and clear the pending guard when the action settles.

pingdotgg/t3code#27718: Requests a bindable thread.archive command, which this change adds.
pingdotgg/t3code#26407: Reports terminal-focus interference with thread-level shortcuts; the new archive and delete bindings use a !terminalFocus condition by default.

This adds optional, unbound-by-default keyboard shortcuts for archiving and deleting threads, reusing the existing confirmation flows. No actionable merge-blocking risk remains in the reviewed changes.
