Until #531 is resolved, requesting manual tag creation:

• repository: https://github.com/opensearch-project/opensearch-migrations
• target branch: main
• required tag: 3.3.8 (no v prefix, per RELEASING.md)
• commit to tag: 1dfe836e95398fd125882dd30cea18f7413dabe1
  (opensearch-project/opensearch-migrations@1dfe836)
• previous tag: 3.3.7

Equivalent command:

git tag -s 3.3.8 1dfe836e95398fd125882dd30cea18f7413dabe1 -m "Release 3.3.8"

Additional information to support your request

Please create and push tag 3.3.8 from the commit above on main for opensearch-project/opensearch-migrations.
Pushing the tag triggers the release automation (release-drafter.yml); the draft
release still requires a second maintainer to approve the release-approval
environment before anything publishes.

When does this request need to be completed?

Soon — needed for the current release window.
