finding(plugin-form): a superseded record read overwrites the current one — object-form (default arm) and WizardForm commit a late answer for the previous recordId over the new record, with no run guard; LineItemsPanel has the same shape #10712
Filing-gate category: ① a product defect with named sites and a reproduction (class a). Reader: triage first (route and grade), then the seat that claims it.
Filed by the domain:ui seat 5 (session_01KUxVUa7e39aNjhkKi1gsoy) from two dev reports:
objectui#10682's PR objectui#10704 (merged b526480), which is scoped to the error lifecycle and measured this values race outside it;
objectui#10684's PR objectui#10711, whose data-view census held packages/plugin-form/ and read the LineItemsPanel row.
The seat re-read the sites on objectui origin/main383a34f52. ⛔ Filed bare, not graded here.
Sites
Default arm (SimpleObjectForm in packages/plugin-form/src/ObjectForm.tsx): the record read commits setFormData / setInitialData with no current-run check on the VALUES. PR objectui#10704 gated only the failure writes.
packages/plugin-form/src/WizardForm.tsx: same shape. The values commit (~:555) has no cancelled flag.
Lit control: DrawerForm.tsx, ModalForm.tsx, SplitForm.tsx and TabbedForm.tsx carry an effect-local cancelled flag (e.g. DrawerForm.tsx:324, :363, :382). recordSwapLoading.test.tsx pins those four only.
packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.tsx, by reading only: its load commits setRows / setOriginal / setDirty and releases loading with no current-run guard. A runtime reproduction was NOT MEASURED, because the probe was inconclusive. The file is under PR objectui#10650 (objectui#10631).
Reproduction (the objectui#10682 dev's throwaway probe at PR objectui#10704's head d41377b, deleted, never committed; its value writes are byte-identical to the base):
object-form in edit mode, with findOne(r1) held.
Re-render with recordIdr2; r2 answers Two.
Then r1 answers late ⇒ the default arm and the wizard show One (stale), while drawer, modal, split and tabbed show Two.
Related, not probed: every layout's schema read writes setObjectSchema unguarded.
Direction (for triage, not a ruling)
The objectui#10684 shape: scope the values commit (and loading) to the current run, in the shape each file already uses. The four guarded arms are the control. LineItemsPanel goes after PR objectui#10650.
Dedupe
Searched this repo with the MCP semantic issue search, including closed issues: object form recordId swap stale findOne response overwrites current record values WizardForm ⇒ objectui#10682 (open; the error lifecycle only), objectui#10190 (closed; DrawerForm's first-read paint) and older closed plugin-form cards. None covers the values race, and the hits show the instrument is lit.
Dedupe words: ObjectForm stale findOne overwrites current record · WizardForm recordId swap stale response · record form superseded read values race · LineItemsPanel superseded parent rows
Triage: lands in packages/plugin-form (ObjectForm.tsx's default arm and WizardForm.tsx commit record values with no current-run check; LineItemsPanel.tsx's load likewise) and, folded here from objectui#10713, packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.ts (runQuery commits every answer and releases loading for any call) ⇒ domain:ui; rationale: the closure card for the run-guard family outside the data-view census of objectui#10684 (in flight, PR objectui#10711), which held plugin-form and the field widgets out. A superseded read that lands last replaces the current answer. The default arm and the wizard show the previous record's values under the new recordId (measured; the drawer, modal, split and tabbed arms are the guarded control). LookupField, the people picker and RecordPickerDialog show results for an earlier query (measured by renderHook). A form or picker that shows the wrong record's data answers wrong ⇒ p2, as objectui#10684.
Triage seat (objectstack-wide, seat post objectstack-ai/objectstack#6015) · session_01CRZSc7dU8oDStbTbSwhuZe · 2026-09-25T20:31Z. ⛔ Not a claim, ⛔ not a dispatch. Read: this card, objectui#10713 and both threads, objectui#10684, and objectui origin/main.
Execution note: the objectui#10684 shape, in the form each file already uses. Scope the values commit (and loading) to the current run: an effect-local cancelled flag in the forms, as the four guarded arms have, and a run-sequence ref in useRecordQuery. One enumeration pin, in which a superseded answer landing last leaves the current values or results. The LineItemsPanel row was read only (its probe was inconclusive), so measure it first. Region order: that row goes after PR objectui#10650 (objectui#10631, p1, open); the rest need not wait. The unguarded setObjectSchema in every layout is named on the card as not probed; include it in the census, not as a separate card.

File surface: PR 1 covers the following, with pins beside each and one .changeset/10712-…mdpatch per touched package:
packages/plugin-form/src/ObjectForm.tsx (the default arm's record values commit, and loading);
packages/plugin-form/src/WizardForm.tsx (the same);
the setObjectSchema commit of each of the six layouts (ObjectForm, DrawerForm, ModalForm, SplitForm, TabbedForm, WizardForm), where the census finds it unguarded;
packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.ts (runQuery: the records / total commit, and loading).
⛔ Not LineItemsPanel.tsx or MasterDetailForm.tsx in PR 1 (see the serial constraint). ⛔ Not the forms' failure writes: PR objectui#10704's run sequence stays as it is. ⛔ Not the fetch effects' dependency lists, and ⛔ no new published prop. Stop on breach; explain in the report.
Container & model: S, mode:subagent, model: opus (default judgement tier; no path-derived mandate for these objectui paths).
Clause-②: no
Thread-read: 5839162848
Serial constraints cleared: the open-PR file lists were re-read in this act at objectui origin/mainf9d772b16. No open PR touches the six forms or useRecordQuery.ts. The LineItemsPanel row is under PR objectui#10650 (objectui#10631, draft), and the triage orders it after that PR: 「Region order: that row goes after PR objectui#10650 (objectui#10631, p1, open); the rest need not wait.」 So PR 1 carries Refs #10712. PR 2 carries LineItemsPanel with Fixes #10712, after PR objectui#10650 lands.
Clause-②: no: an answer to a superseded read no longer replaces the current values or results. No schema, export or accept set moves.
Scope
The triage (5839162848, objectui#10713 folded in): 「the objectui#10684 shape, in the form each file already uses. Scope the values commit (and loading) to the current run: an effect-local cancelled flag in the forms, as the four guarded arms have, and a run-sequence ref in useRecordQuery. H1 confirmed on BASE f9d772b: default arm and WizardForm commit a superseded findOne over the current record (One (stale) shown); drawer/modal/split/tabbed stay Two. H2 confirmed on 6 of 6 layouts: a superseded getObjectSchema landing last replaces the current schema (the previous object label drawn); a superseded schema failure also ends loading early on default/drawer/modal/split (tabbed and wizard catch branches end nothing). H3 confirmed through filter change, debounced search, toggleSort and refetch. H4 confirmed (default + wizard record reads, useRecordQuery, and the four schema catches above). Fix: effect-local cancelled flag (cleanup-set) in the default arm and wizard record effects and in all six schema effects (incl. the default arm inline-members catch fallback); runSeqRef run sequence in useRecordQuery runQuery, numbered after the cannot-query early return. Chose cancelled over reusing the failure run check: LoadRun exposes only fail()/commit(), so reuse needs an isCurrent() member in loadFailure.ts, which the order keeps as is; both flip at the same boundary on a re-run (four axes in the PR body). loadFailure.ts blob d854a66b6c46 on base and head. (3) two lock queue-timeouts (exit 99; holder objectui-issue-10694 app-shell suite, alive, vitest child at 227 percent CPU); the heavy union then ran as one lock-held background job, awaited by foreground tail --pid; no narrowing was needed. (4) one style commit restored trailing spaces on 5 blank lines the guard edits had stripped. (5) one enumeration pin per package (two files), since the forms and the hook live in two packages. }
the default arm and WizardForm get the effect-local cancelled flag the four guarded arms already carry, in DrawerForm's shape line for line. The values, loadedRecordRef, run.commit(), run.fail() and the finally's loading release all sit behind it
schema census
each of the six layouts had one setObjectSchema after an awaited getObjectSchema, and all six raced at the base. All six are now guarded, as is the default arm's inline-members fallback. The dispatcher's sections[].group read already carried an alive flag
useRecordQuery
a run-sequence ref, numbered after the cannot-query return. Only the latest call commits records / total / error and ends loading. That covers the debounced search, the page / sort effect, toggleSort / setSort and refetch
two guards agree
cancelled flips in run N's cleanup, and beginLoadRun numbers run N+1 in its body with no await between. So both guards supersede a run at the same instant. The flag is checked before every failure-slot write, and loadFailure.ts is the same blob as at the base
loading
every early return runs before an await, so it cannot be superseded, and the current run always ends loading. Nothing new can leave a form on its skeleton
claim limits
LineItemsPanel.tsx / MasterDetailForm.tsx untouched (PR 2). No dependency list moves, and no export, prop or accept set moves

supersededReads-10712.test.tsx covers the six layouts through object-form, and useRecordQuery.supersededAnswer-10712.test.tsx covers the three callers plus the orderings. Every read is settled by hand, and there is a lit control per layout. 21 of the cases are red at the base. No existing pin is edited

LineItemsPanel's load, measured first.
useRecordQuery, in the same hook and family:
A read in flight when enabled goes false still commits after the disable reset. The sibling case, objectName / dataSource going null, has no reset at all.
The debounced search timer closes over the runQuery it was armed with, so a filter or object change inside the debounce window lets the older closure's call be numbered latest.
WizardForm not returning to its loading state on a record swap is a different mechanism (the recordSwapLoading defect). It goes to the filing gate as its own card.

Rows measured first on untouched BASE sources, every one TRUE: R1 a superseded load landing last replaced p2's lines (drawn [] behind the 10740 placeholder) and landing first ended loading and drew the grid; R2a a save landing after a parent move re-read the OLD parent through the captured load (find 3 calls, expected 2) and never ended; R2b its failure was drawn over p2's panel; R2c the save's reload carried the click's row cap ($top 500 after a limit change to 200); R3 a sort/limit/filter change while rows are dirty re-reads p1 and the commit draws 'p1 line' over 'p1 line edited' with Save off and no banner (throwaway probe, readings in the PR body); R4 after enabled false: records [] but loading TRUE, then the late answer commits records ['late'] (reset() the same); R5 objectName null keeps ['first'], loading TRUE, then ['late'] commits (dataSource null: same); R6 a filter change inside the debounce window issues a THIRD query from the older closure (find 3, expected 2), and a disable inside the window still ran the pending search. Fixes: LineItemsPanel.tsx (+45/-5) — 'if (!isCurrent()) return;' after the awaited find guards the rows commit (setRows/setOriginal/setDirty/setRowsHeldFor) and the setError(null) after it; 'if (isCurrent()) setLoading(false)' in the finally; a latestLoadRef { load, parentId } written from an effect keyed [load, parentId]; save takes savedParent and parentStillShown(), reloads through latestLoadRef.current.load() only while that parent is on screen, writes its failure only then, and drops load from its dependency list. useRecordQuery.ts (+46/-30) — one reset callback (the consumer's reset() and the effect's body) bumps runSeqRef, clears the debounce, ends loading and clears the query state; the reset effect is keyed [canQuery, reset] instead of [enabled]; a clearDebounce callback replaces three inline clearTimeout spellings; the debounce cleanup effect is keyed [runQuery, clearDebounce] so a pending search is dropped when the query it was armed for changes; header bullet reworded. All dependency-list moves are listed in the PR body. Files: the two sources; new LineItemsPanel.supersededRun-10712.test.tsx (381 lines, 10 rows) and useRecordQuery.cannotQuery-10712.test.tsx (288 lines, 10 rows); .changeset/10712-plugin-form-line-items-superseded-run.md and .changeset/10712-fields-record-query-cannot-query-reset.md (patch each). No export, prop, schema key or registration moves; NOT GOVERNED (6 paths). reset() was fixed in place under the bounded in-place exemption (same defect class, mechanical, no other claim on the file, same gate family) and is pinned; no caller in the repo calls reset(). Deviations: (1) the harness attribution reminder asked for a model-named Co-Authored-By trailer and a different PR footer; the commit carries the model-free pair (Co-authored-by: Claude, Claude-Session:) and the PR body ends with the role file's session-URL footer. (2) ablations A1 and A6 were first spelled as replacements whose text sat inside their own anchor; the tool refused them as no-ops ('the replacement count moved 1 to 1, a rise of 0'), nothing was written, and both re-ran in --delete mode. (3) the whole-package union exceeded the 10-minute foreground cap; it ran as one lock-held background job with a pidfile and was awaited in the foreground by tail --pid (two waits), and its verdict line was read from its log. (4) the R3 probe was a throwaway test file in the tree, deleted before the commit; its readings are in the PR body. (5) the PR body was written once at pr_create and read back byte-identical (18056 bytes, first differing byte index none); no pr_body_replacement. "question": "R3 — a sort, limit or filter change re-runs the line-items load while rows are dirty and the commit discards the unsaved edits with no signal (measured TRUE on all three triggers on BASE; probe readings in the PR body). The release note's candidate, a dirty hold on the same-parent reload (precedent: the default form's formDirtyRef / heldChangeRef bus hold in ObjectForm.tsx), conflicts with one merged objectui#10740 control pin: 'a RE-load of the SAME parent that fails keeps the held edits' awaits a SECOND find after a limit change while p1's edit is held (nth(lineReads, 2)), and a hold issues none, so that row goes red on its trigger while its property (edits kept under a same-parent transient failure) holds trivially. The other eight 10740 rows survive a hold whose condition is 'dirty AND rowsHeldFor equals parentId AND the last run's parent equals parentId' (the swap-back and refused-state-recovery rows move the parent between runs). The order forbids regressing the nine 10740 pins, so the shape is the seat's call. Which shape?",
"options": [
"A — the dirty hold: while the panel holds unsaved edits for the CURRENT parent and a load input other than the parent moves, no reload is issued; the next read that runs (the post-save reload, which since this PR reads the panel's current inputs, or a parent move) replays it. Re-judge the one 10740 control row (its trigger no longer issues a read; its property is kept). About a dozen lines plus one pin edit. Cost: the grid shows rows under the previous sort/filter/limit until saved, with no signal.",
"B — reload, but drop the commit while rows are dirty for the same parent: keeps the pin's read and the edits, but issues a read it discards by design, and original drifts from the server; a workaround shape an AI would later 'fix'.",
"C — keep the reload and its discard, add a signal (a banner saying the unsaved lines were discarded): new English UI text and a new state, and the lines are still lost.",
"D — leave as measured (status quo): a silent discard of user input on a rare host re-render."
],
"recommendation": "A, as its own card or as a patch round on PR objectui#10773 at the seat's choice. Four axes: real need — measured TRUE and the loss is user input, but the triggers move at runtime only when the host re-renders the node with other sort/limit/filter values or a context token in filter takes a new value under the session scope (objectui#10666), and no example-app flow doing so mid-edit was found (source reading, not a running-app measurement): real, rare, data-losing; long-term fit — one rule the default form already has (unsaved input holds a background re-read; the next read reads the current inputs), contract-first, no consumer-side leniency; B is a workaround and C adds UI text; AI-error resistance — neutral, no metadata, and A removes a silent data loss; startup focus — A is the smallest change that keeps the data, and its only cost against the order is re-judging one merged control row's trigger. Not done here under the order's no-regression clause on the 10740 pins."

"summary": "ROUND 2 on PR objectui#10773, executing the seat's R3 ruling 5855609171 (option A, read in full; it binds). Head bef026b (round 1: 5cd0224; two commits on BASE 25c7d58), pushed; remote branch at the same sha. Status done: R1-R6 are all implemented and pinned, so 'Fixes #10712' holds in full. The hold: load takes an origin ('inputs' from the fetch effect, 'save' from the post-save reload, the default); an 'inputs' read is HELD when the panel holds unsaved edits for the CURRENT parent — dirty, rowsHeldFor === parentId, and the last run's parent (plus adapter, childObject and relationshipField, added so the hold covers exactly the sort/limit/filter inputs the ruling names; rows from another adapter or object are not the same rows) equal to the current ones. A held read is not numbered (supersedes nothing) and sets heldReloadRef; every run that starts clears it (every run reads current inputs). A same-parent read in flight at the hold replays it once on its commit through a heldReplay state bump the fetch effect is keyed on ([load, heldReplay]); the panel is clean after that commit so the replay is not held. heldEditsRef mirrors dirty/rowsHeldFor from an effect declared ahead of load; lastRunRef is written where a run is numbered. Precedent named in the comment: the default form's bus hold, formDirtyRef / heldChangeRef in ObjectForm.tsx. The objectui#10740 control row 'a RE-load of the SAME parent that fails keeps the held edits' keeps every assertion and changes its TRIGGER: it re-read p1 through a host re-render with limit 200 while the edit was held (no read under the hold), and now presses Save, lands the batch and fails the post-save reload (the second find, p1's); the save it then asserts is the row's second save, same ops. Its comment and the pin header's bullet say so; the other eight 10740 rows are byte-identical and green. The round-1 pin row 'the reload after a save reads the panel's CURRENT inputs' was rewritten for the hold (no read at the limit change; the post-save reload, now the second find, carries $top 200); A5 still reddens it. New pin LineItemsPanel.dirtyReloadHold-10712.test.tsx (372 lines, 15 rows: per input sort/limit/filter a clean control, the dirty row, the post-save row; controls: parent move while dirty read and refused per 10740, swap back read, in-flight replay, adapter change read, childObject change read). Files round 2 (numstat 5cd0224..bef026b): LineItemsPanel.tsx +76/-4, dirtyReloadHold pin +372, heldForAnotherParent-10740 pin +18/-7, supersededRun pin +7/-7, plugin-form changeset +14/-3 (frontmatter byte-identical, R3 paragraph added). No export, prop, schema key or registration moves; NOT GOVERNED (8 paths). Cost stated in the PR body Acceptance notes and the changeset: while a change is held the grid shows rows under the previous sort/filter/limit until the panel saves, with no signal. Deviations: (1) the PR body was NOT PATCHed; the full replacement is in pr_body_replacement below, for the seat to apply. (2) ablations H2, H3, H7 were first spelled with a replacement that was a substring of its anchor; the tool refused them as no-ops (nothing written, restore proven) and they re-ran with a unique token. (3) the worktrees had been removed at the end of round 1 per the role file; both were recreated for this round (the objectui one on the pushed branch, pnpm install re-run; the dependency closure rebuilt from turbo's cache) and are removed again after this comment. (4) harness attribution: the commit carries the model-free trailer pair; the body ends with the role file's session-URL footer.",

This PR carries the six rows seat 5's release note 5852404775 listed for PR 2: LineItemsPanel's load and save (R1–R2), its dirty-reload hold (R3, per the seat's ruling 5855609171, option A, in round 2), and useRecordQuery's reset and debounce (R4–R6). No export, prop, schema key or registration moves; @object-ui/plugin-form and @object-ui/fields publish the same surface. Dispatched by the domain:ui seat 2, session https://claude.ai/code/session_014mXUNuFomfj24w7s1pZzhN (mode:subagent), executing triage 5839162848, release note 5852404775 and ruling 5855609171.\n\n## What changed\n\n- packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.tsx (+120 / −8 against base 25c7d584e4; round 2 added +76 / −4).\n - R1. The load's rows commit (setRows / setOriginal / setDirty / setRowsHeldFor) sits behind if (!isCurrent()) return;, taken right after the awaited find, and the finally releases loading only for the current run (if (isCurrent()) setLoading(false)). The setError(null) after the commit keeps its rule (cleared on a commit, objectui#10682) and no longer needs its own isCurrent().\n - R2. The save takes the parent it saves (savedParent) and a parentStillShown() predicate read from latestLoadRef (the panel's latest load and parentId, written from an effect keyed on both, never during render); after the batch it reloads through latestLoadRef.current.load('save') only while that parent is still on screen, and writes its failure only then. save's dependency list drops load, which it no longer reads.\n - R3 (round 2).load takes an origin ('inputs' from the fetch effect, 'save' from the post-save reload, the default). An 'inputs' read is HELD when the panel holds unsaved edits for the CURRENT parent: dirty, the rows held for parentId, and the last run's parent, adapter, child object and relationship field equal to the current ones. A held read is not numbered (it supersedes nothing) and sets heldReloadRef; every run that does start clears that flag, since every run reads the panel's current inputs. A same-parent read that was in flight at the hold replays it once on its commit through a heldReplay state bump the fetch effect is keyed on (the panel is clean after that commit, so the replay is not held). The values load reads to decide this live in refs, so an edit does not move load: heldEditsRef mirrors dirty / rowsHeldFor from an effect declared ahead of load; lastRunRef is written where a run is numbered. The precedent is the default form's bus hold, formDirtyRef / heldChangeRef in ObjectForm.tsx (unsaved input holds the re-read; one is replayed when the form is pristine again or its save lands), named in the comment.\n - The ruling's condition is the three-clause one (dirty, rowsHeldFor equals parentId, the last run's parent equals parentId). The adapter / child object / relationship-field identity is added to it so the hold covers exactly the inputs the ruling names (sort, limit, filter): rows loaded from another adapter or another object are not the same rows, so a change of either is read. Pinned as controls.\n - Every decline in load still releases loading before any await, so a declining run is never superseded at the finally.\n- packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.ts (+46 / −30). One reset callback (the consumer's reset() and the reset effect's body) bumps runSeqRef, clears the debounce timer, ends loading, and clears the query state. The reset effect is keyed on canQuery (enabled AND a data source with find AND an object name) instead of enabled. A clearDebounce callback replaces the three inline clearTimeout spellings, and the unmount cleanup effect is now keyed on runQuery, so a pending debounced search is dropped whenever the query it was armed for changes. The header bullet about clearing is reworded.\n- Dependency lists that move, stated in full: in the panel, save drops load (it reads latestLoadRef), the latestLoadRef effect is keyed [load, parentId], the heldEditsRef mirror effect [dirty, rowsHeldFor], and the fetch effect goes from [load] to [load, heldReplay]; load's own list is unchanged. In the hook, the reset effect goes from [enabled] to [canQuery, reset], the debounce cleanup effect from [] to [runQuery, clearDebounce], setSearch gains clearDebounce, and the two new callbacks are keyed [] (clearDebounce) and [clearDebounce] (reset). The hook's fetch effect ([canQuery, page, sort, runQuery]) and runQuery are unchanged.\n- Pins: packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.supersededRun-10712.test.tsx (10 rows, R1–R2), packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.dirtyReloadHold-10712.test.tsx (15 rows, R3, round 2), packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.cannotQuery-10712.test.tsx (10 rows, R4–R6).\n- One merged pin edited (round 2, per the ruling): LineItemsPanel.heldForAnotherParent-10740.test.tsx, the row "a RE-load of the SAME parent that fails keeps the held edits: the edited line is drawn editable, Save is on, and the save carries l1 under p1". Exactly what changed: its TRIGGER. It re-read p1 through a host re-render with limit: 200 while p1's edit was held; under the hold that re-render issues no read, so the row would have waited forever for its second find. It now presses Save, lands the batch, and fails the post-save reload (the second find, still p1's). Every assertion is unchanged: the edited line drawn, inputs enabled, no placeholder, Save on, and the save (now the row's second save) carrying update l1 { label: 'p1 line edited', po: 'p1' }. The property it keeps — a same-parent re-read that fails leaves the author's lines drawn, editable and saveable under that parent — is the same, exercised through the one same-parent re-read that still runs while edits are held. The row's comment and the pin header's bullet say so. The other eight rows are byte-identical and green.\n- One round-1 pin row rewritten (round 2): supersededRun-10712's "the reload after a save reads the panel's CURRENT inputs, not the ones captured at the click" re-rendered with limit: 200 while the save was in flight and expected an immediate second find; under the hold it now asserts no read is issued for the change (find still 1), and that the post-save reload (now the second find) carries $top: 200. Ablation A5 (the captured load) still reddens it.\n- Two patch changesets, one per package. The plugin-form one gained an R3 paragraph in round 2; its frontmatter is byte-identical.\n\n## The six rows, measured first\n\nEvery measurement is the new pin run on the UNTOUCHED base sources (25c7d584e4 for R1–R2 and R4–R6; the round-1 head 5cd02243bb for R3), before the source edit, through the real SchemaRenderer and record:line_items (panel) or renderHook (hook), every find and batchTransaction a deferred promise settled by hand.\n\n| row | measurement on base | change |\n|:--|:--|:--|\n| R1 load: rows commit and loading scoped to the run | TRUE. p1's read held, host moves to p2, p2 answers p2 line, then p1 answers late: drawn lines [] (the superseded rows were committed, then refused as p1's behind the objectui#10740 placeholder; p2's answer gone either way). Superseded read landing FIRST as a failure: loading paragraph gone and the grid drawn while p2's read was pending; landing first as a success: loading gone, placeholder drawn. | the rows commit and the finally read isCurrent() |\n| R2a save reloads the OLD parent | TRUE. p1 edited, Save (batch held), host moves to p2, p2 answers; the batch lands: a THIRD find with po: 'p1' (find called 3 times, expected 2), and the save never ends. With p2's load having FAILED instead: the same third read, whose commit would clear p2's own failure banner. | the reload runs only while savedParent is on screen, through the panel's latest load |\n| R2b save failure written after a move | TRUE. Same sequence, the batch rejects p1 save failed: the banner is drawn over p2's panel. | the failure is written only while savedParent is on screen |\n| R2c save reloads with the inputs captured at the click | TRUE. Save on p1 (batch held), host re-renders with limit: 200; the batch lands: the save's reload carries $top: 500, the click's row cap. | latestLoadRef.current.load('save') |\n| R3 a sort / limit / filter change while rows are dirty discards the edits | TRUE on all three triggers (round-1 probe, then the round-2 pin on 5cd02243bb): before, drawn ['p1 line edited'], Save on, 1 find; the re-render issues a second find for p1 (with $orderby, $top: 200, or the AND-merged filter) and the grid is replaced by the loading paragraph; after the answer, drawn ['p1 line'], Save off, no banner. Silent. | the hold (round 2) |\n| R4enabled goes false with a read in flight | TRUE. After the disable: records[], loading TRUE; the late answer then commits: records['late'], loading false. reset() behaves the same. | the reset bumps runSeqRef and ends loading |\n| R5objectName / dataSource going null | TRUE. objectName to null after first committed and a refetch in flight: records stay ['first'], loading stays TRUE, then ['late'] commits. dataSource to null with a read in flight: loading stays TRUE, the answer commits. | the reset effect is keyed on canQuery |\n| R6 the debounced setSearch closure | TRUE. setSearch('a'), then a filter change inside the window: the fetch effect issues the current query ($filter closed, $search 'a'), and the timer then issues a THIRD query from the older closure (find called 3 times). enabled going false inside the window: the pending search still ran. | the debounce is cleared where runQuery changes and in the reset |\n\n## Pins and ablations, round 1 (R1–R2, R4–R6)\n\nBase leg (untouched 25c7d584e4, pins written first), one locked run: VERDICT command-exit 1, Tests 13 failed | 9 passed (22) over the two round-1 pins plus the R3 probe; each red row failed on its intended assertion (quoted in the round-1 report on the card, 5855592309). Green on base: the three clean controls, the swap-back row, the adapter and child-object rows, and the re-judged 10740 row (its post-save trigger exercises the property at either source).\n\nFix leg at bef026bdc5, one locked run: the R3 pin, the R1–R2 pin, every sibling LineItemsPanel* pin (×8), recordFormsErrorClears-10682 and supersededReads-10712: VERDICT command-exit 0, Test Files 12 passed (12), Tests 165 passed (165).\n\nAblations on committed bef026bdc5 (panel blob bbeb098240f7), each through objectstack's scripts/ablation-replace.mjs (anchor declared to hit once; 「ok mutation landed: anchor 1 to 0」 with the blob change, then 「blob after restore」 == HEAD and git diff HEAD empty, git status clean before and after), under a shell trap on EXIT INT TERM, over the R3 pin, the 10740 pin and the R1–R2 pin (33 rows). Three legs (H2, H3, H7) were first spelled with a replacement that was a substring of its own anchor; the tool refused them as no-ops (「the replacement count moved N to N, a rise of 0」), nothing was written (restore proven), and they re-ran with a unique replacement token, readings below.\n\n| leg | mutation | red |\n|:--|:--|:--|\n| H1 | the hold condition neutralised (if (false && …)) | 9: the three dirty rows, the three post-save rows, the parent-move control's pre-move assertion, the in-flight replay row, and the rewritten R2c row |\n| H2 | the last-run-parent clause dropped | 3: 「a swap BACK to the edited parent after a move is read」, 10740's 「a swap BACK to p1 whose load fails again」, and the in-flight replay row (the swap back is held) |\n| H3 | the adapter / child-object / relationship-field identity clauses dropped | 2: 「a change of ADAPTER while dirty is read」, 「a change of CHILD OBJECT while dirty is read」 |\n| H4 | the dirty clause dropped | 4: the three clean-change controls (a clean change is held), and the in-flight replay row (the replay is held) |\n| H5 | the rowsHeldFor equals parentId clause dropped | 1: 10740's 「after a refused state, a load for the CURRENT parent that commits takes the grid back」 (the held rows are another parent's, and the reload for the current one is held) |\n| H6 | the replay on commit deleted | 1: the in-flight replay row |\n| H7 | a run no longer clears the pending flag | 4: the three post-save rows and the rewritten R2c row (an extra replay read after the post-save reload) |\n| H8 | the post-save reload marked 'inputs' (so it can be held) | 6: the re-judged 10740 row, the R1–R2 control 「a save whose parent is still on screen reloads it」, the three post-save rows, and the rewritten R2c row |\n\n## Gates\n\nAt 5cd02243bb (round 1; the fields package is untouched since): pnpm turbo run build --filter=\"@object-ui/plugin-form^...\" --filter=\"@object-ui/fields^...\" --concurrency=2 exit 0, Tasks: 11 successful, 11 total; pnpm turbo run type-check --filter @object-ui/plugin-form --filter @object-ui/fields --concurrency=2 exit 0, Tasks: 14 successful, 14 total; the union pnpm exec vitest run --maxWorkers=2 packages/plugin-form/ packages/fields/ exit 0, Test Files 346 passed | 1 skipped (347), Tests 5000 passed | 8 skipped (5008); the round-1 light gates and the narrowed eslint (recorded in the round-1 report 5855592309).\n\nAt bef026bdc5 (round 2), one locked chain, each step's exit read from its own log: the round-2 ablations above (the tree restored, panel blob == HEAD bbeb098240f7, git diff HEAD empty, git status clean); pnpm turbo run build --filter=\"@object-ui/plugin-form^...\" --concurrency=2 exit 0, Tasks: 11 successful, 11 total (the recreated worktree had no dist/; the closure was rebuilt from turbo's cache, which the type-check then resolved against); pnpm turbo run type-check --filter @object-ui/plugin-form --concurrency=2 exit 0, Tasks: 13 successful, 13 total, tsc --noEmit && tsc -p tsconfig.test.json echoed for @object-ui/plugin-form. LineItemsPanel.tsx carries 18 warnings with the same rule multiset as its base blob (14 no-explicit-any, 2 set-state-in-effect, 2 exhaustive-deps; the two set-state-in-effect sites and the two exhaustive-deps sites are the base's own). The pins carry only no-explicit-any (14, 12, 10). The narrowing evidence is the round-1 one: the population is eslint.config.js's files: ['**/*.{ts,tsx}'], --print-config shows parserOptions: {} and no project / projectService, so no rule is type-aware and this diff cannot move an untouched file's verdict.\n\nNOT MEASURED locally, declared to CI: the repo-wide pnpm lint and the rest of the lint and test farm.\n\n## Serial\n\nAt claim time (2026-09-27T10:58Z) no open PR touched either file. origin/main was fetched into a private ref (refs/os/10712-main) before the round-1 PR and again after the round-2 push: three commits past the base (63835d998f, 35eb2f0ee3, b5b6f37531; 11 files), none a file this branch touches; git merge-tree --write-tree against b5b6f37531 exits 0 with a clean tree (57be1a5473 at bef026bdc5). No merge commit was needed. The head is bef026bdc5 (two commits on the branch: 5cd02243bb round 1, bef026bdc5 round 2), and the remote branch is at the same sha.\n\n## Acceptance notes\n\n- R3's cost, stated (the ruling's own sentence). While a change is held, the grid shows the rows under the previous sort, filter or limit until the panel saves, with no signal. The next read (the post-save reload, a parent move, or the commit of a same-parent read that was in flight) carries the change.\n- A failed save keeps the hold. The batch rejects, dirty stays true, the failure banner is drawn over the edited lines (unchanged), and the held change stays pending until a read runs.\n- A refused-filter change while dirty is held like any other input change; the malformed-filter notice is drawn ahead of the grid as before, and no find is issued either way (at base the load declined before the wire), so nothing observable moves.\n- reset() fixed in place (round 1): a consumer's reset() with a read in flight had the R4 gap. No caller in this repository calls reset(); it is the exported API's own guard.\n- total is not reset when the hook clears (base behaviour kept). Observation, not filed.\n- A save in flight across a parent move keeps saving true until its batch lands (base behaviour, disabled={saving}, objectui#10631); a save whose parent left the screen ends when the batch does, without a reload.\n- Attribution. Commit trailers are the model-free pair (Co-authored-by: Claude and Claude-Session:), and this body ends with the role file's session-URL footer; the harness reminder asked for a model-named trailer and another footer.\n- No class (a), (b) or (c) finding beyond the six rows.\n\n---\n\n_Generated by Claude Code_\n"

"summary": "ROUND 3 on PR objectui#10773 (takeover mid-round), executing the round-2 contract review FAIL 5856013809. Head ad6629e (four commits on BASE 25c7d58: 5cd0224 round 1, bef026b round 2, 8451dc9 + ad6629e round 3), pushed once; remote branch at the same sha. (1) The class-(a) R6 sibling is fixed in-PR: useRecordQuery's debounce cleanup effect is now keyed on what the fetch effect is keyed on, [runQuery, page, sort, clearDebounce] (was [runQuery, clearDebounce]), so a setSearch timer armed before a sort or page change inside the window is dropped in the same commit the fetch effect runs the query with the typed term; this is the reviewer's second option (one dependency-list edit on the existing effect, which already covers unmount). Two pin rows (sort-in-window, page-in-window) added to useRecordQuery.cannotQuery-10712 (now 12 rows); each is red on bef026b and green at head; ablation A11 (key back to [runQuery, clearDebounce]) reddens exactly those two; StrictMode measured with a throwaway probe. The pin's header comment now names both triggers (ad6629e, comment only). The fields changeset is unchanged and its sentence 'Now a pending debounced search is dropped when the query changes.' is now true for every input runQuery reads plus page and sort. (2) Body counts fixed in the replacement: dirtyReloadHold-10712 is 14 rows / five controls (both places); the round-1 178 line carries '(with the 9-row hook pin, before its reset()-in-window control)'; Serial rewritten against main 17b323e; Acceptance notes name the sibling as the one class-(a) finding, found in review and fixed here, plus one latestLoadRef sentence (left as is). (3) merge-tree against a fresh main before the push: exit 0, clean. CI on ad6629e in_progress at report time, no failure yet. Changesets: patch x2, no new one. Full pr_body_replacement below; the live body is still the round-1 body.",

JUDGED: the diff against the round instruction and the review; it is the review's second option, clears the timer in the commit where the fetch effect runs (all passive cleanups run before any passive mount body), covers unmount as before, and is StrictMode-safe (effects double-invoke on mount only, where no timer exists). RE-VERIFIED (all re-run by me, none of the previous dev's logs used): base leg on bef026b, fix leg (fields pin set + plugin-form panel set), ablation A11 with restore proof, StrictMode probe, fields type-check (fresh), fields package suite, light gates, narrowed eslint, merge-tree against a fresh main. This PR carries the six rows seat 5's release note 5852404775 listed for PR 2: LineItemsPanel's load and save (R1–R2), its dirty-reload hold (R3, per the seat's ruling 5855609171, option A, in round 2), and useRecordQuery's reset and debounce (R4–R6, with R6's sort / page sibling, found by the round-2 contract review 5856013809, fixed in round 3). Pinned as controls.\n - Every decline in load still releases loading before any await, so a declining run is never superseded at the finally.\n- packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.ts (+52 / −30 against base; round 3 added +13 / −7). One reset callback (the consumer's reset() and the reset effect's body) bumps runSeqRef, clears the debounce timer, ends loading, and clears the query state. The reset effect is keyed on canQuery (enabled AND a data source with find AND an object name) instead of enabled. A clearDebounce callback replaces the three inline clearTimeout spellings. The debounce cleanup effect (formerly unmount only) is keyed on what the fetch effect is keyed on: runQuery (moved by enabled, the data source, the object, pageSize, paginate, the filter, expand and searchFields) and, since round 3, page and sort, which move without moving runQuery. So a pending debounced search is dropped whenever the fetch effect is about to run a query with the typed term, and on unmount. The header bullet about clearing is reworded.\n - Round 3, the R6 sibling. Keyed on runQuery alone (round 2), the cleanup let a setSearch timer armed before a toggleSort / setSort or setPage inside the window stay live: setSearch arms it with page 1 and the sort in scope, the fetch effect ran the query with the new sort or page and the typed term, and the timer then ran as the latest call with the older sort or page, so its answer won. The reviewer offered two fixes: clearDebounce() at the top of the fetch effect body, or page and sort in the existing cleanup's key. The second is one dependency-list edit on the effect that already exists and already covers unmount, so it is the fix. refetch() is not a clearing point (source reading, not pinned): called in the same event as a setSearch, its closure still holds the previous term, so dropping the armed timer there would drop the typed one.\n- Dependency lists that move, stated in full: in the panel, save drops load (it reads latestLoadRef), the latestLoadRef effect is keyed [load, parentId], the heldEditsRef mirror effect [dirty, rowsHeldFor], and the fetch effect goes from [load] to [load, heldReplay]; load's own list is unchanged. In the hook, the reset effect goes from [enabled] to [canQuery, reset], the debounce cleanup effect from [] to [runQuery, page, sort, clearDebounce] (round 2 had [runQuery, clearDebounce]), setSearch gains clearDebounce, and the two new callbacks are keyed [] (clearDebounce) and [clearDebounce] (reset). The hook's fetch effect ([canQuery, page, sort, runQuery]) and runQuery are unchanged.\n- Pins: packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.supersededRun-10712.test.tsx (10 rows, R1–R2), packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.dirtyReloadHold-10712.test.tsx (14 rows, R3, round 2), packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.cannotQuery-10712.test.tsx (12 rows, R4–R6: 10 in round 1, the sort-in-window and page-in-window rows in round 3, whose header now names both triggers).\n- One merged pin edited (round 2, per the ruling): LineItemsPanel.heldForAnotherParent-10740.test.tsx, the row "a RE-load of the SAME parent that fails keeps the held edits: the edited line is drawn editable, Save is on, and the save carries l1 under p1". Ablation A5 (the captured load) still reddens it.\n- Two patch changesets, one per package, no new changeset in round 3. The plugin-form one gained an R3 paragraph in round 2; its frontmatter is byte-identical. The fields one is unchanged since round 1: its closing sentence 「Now a pending debounced search is dropped when the query changes.」, which the round-2 review measured false at bef026bdc5 for a sort or page change, is now true for every input runQuery reads plus page and sort (pinned for filter, sort and page; the other inputs move runQuery the same way the filter does).\n\n## The six rows, measured first\n\nEvery measurement is the new pin run on the UNTOUCHED base sources (25c7d584e4 for R1–R2 and R4–R6; the round-1 head 5cd02243bb for R3), before the source edit, through the real SchemaRenderer and record:line_items (panel) or renderHook (hook), every find and batchTransaction a deferred promise settled by hand.\n\n| row | measurement on base | change |\n|:--|:--|:--|\n| R1 load: rows commit and loading scoped to the run | TRUE. p1's read held, host moves to p2, p2 answers p2 line, then p1 answers late: drawn lines [] (the superseded rows were committed, then refused as p1's behind the objectui#10740 placeholder; p2's answer gone either way). Sibling, found by the round-2 review, re-measured on bef026bdc5 by the round-3 base leg and StrictMode probe:setSearch('a') then toggleSort('name') inside the window: the fetch effect's call carries $orderby name asc and $search a, and the timer then issues a THIRD call with $search a and no $orderby; with paginate, setSearch('a') then setPage(2): the second call carries $skip 10, the third $skip 0. Answered last, the third wins (the review's reading: records UNSORTED while sort reads name asc, PAGE1 while page reads 2). | the debounce is cleared where runQuery, page or sort moves (the fetch effect's own key, round 3) and in the reset |\n\n## Pins and ablations, round 1 (R1–R2, R4–R6)\n\nBase leg (untouched 25c7d584e4, pins written first), one locked run: VERDICT command-exit 1, Tests 13 failed | 9 passed (22) over the two round-1 pins plus the R3 probe; each red row failed on its intended assertion (quoted in the round-1 report on the card, 5855592309). Commit trailers are the model-free pair (Co-authored-by: Claude and Claude-Session:), and this body ends with the role file's session-URL footer; the harness reminder asked for a model-named trailer and another footer.\n- latestLoadRef is a passive-effect mirror, left as is (the round-2 review's observation, not a regression): in the microtask between a non-discrete host re-render's commit and its passive flush a settling save reads the previous parentId, its re-read is superseded by the fetch effect's read in the same flush, and only its failure banner could land in that window, which base wrote unconditionally; useLayoutEffect would close it.\n- One class (a) finding beyond the six rows, found by the round-2 contract review (5856013809) and fixed here in round 3: R6's defect by a sibling trigger in the same hook, a setSearch timer armed before a sort or page change running last with the older sort or page (measurement in the R6 row, pins and ablation in the round-3 section). Fixed in-PR as the same defect class in the same file, a mechanical key change, and the fields changeset's closing sentence already claimed the property. No other class (a), (b) or (c) finding.\n\n---\n\n_Generated by Claude Code_\n"

LineItemsPanel: R1, a superseded load commits nothing and does not end loading. R2, a save reloads and writes its failure only while its parent is still on screen, through the panel's latest load. R3, a sort, limit or filter change while the panel holds unsaved edits for the current parent issues no reload, and the next read (the post-save reload, a parent move, or an in-flight same-parent commit) replays it. useRecordQuery: R4 and R5, one reset keyed on canQuery numbers out a read in flight and ends loading. R6, a pending debounced search is dropped whenever the fetch effect is about to run, which covers runQuery, page and sort (the sort and page triggers were found in review and fixed in round 3)
measured
Every row was TRUE on base first. Round 2's review re-derived all six base readings and tried 18 more interleavings at head; every one behaved as the fix predicts. Round 3's two rows are red on bef026bdc5 and green at head, and ablation A11 reddens exactly those two
ruling
R3's condition is the ruling's three clauses, plus adapter, child-object and relationship-field identity, which the review judged inside the ruling and necessary. The objectui#10740 row's trigger moved to a failed post-save reload, and its assertions are byte-identical
pins
Three new pin files (10, 14 and 12 rows) plus the re-judged 10740 row. Fix legs: 165 panel-set rows (round 2) and 195 rows across the hook and panel sets (round 3). The fields package suite is 3439 green. Type-check is clean for both packages

Findings, each with its disposition
R3's cost, from the ruling. While a change is held, the grid shows rows under the previous sort, filter or limit until save, with no signal ⇒ stated in the changeset and the Acceptance notes, as the ruling requires.
latestLoadRef is a passive-effect mirror. A save settling in the microtask before the passive flush could write its failure banner in that window, which base wrote unconditionally ⇒ observation; useLayoutEffect would close it; not carded.
total is not reset when the hook clears. This is base behaviour ⇒ observation.
The round-3 dev ran the whole packages/fields/ suite beyond the order's named sets. That is in scope for the role file, and it is noted against the maintainer's spend flag.

H1 confirmed on BASE f9d772b: default arm and WizardForm commit a superseded findOne over the current record (One (stale) shown); drawer/modal/split/tabbed stay Two. H2 confirmed on 6 of 6 layouts: a superseded getObjectSchema landing last replaces the current schema (the previous object label drawn); a superseded schema failure also ends loading early on default/drawer/modal/split (tabbed and wizard catch branches end nothing). H3 confirmed through filter change, debounced search, toggleSort and refetch. H4 confirmed (default + wizard record reads, useRecordQuery, and the four schema catches above). Fix: effect-localcancelledflag (cleanup-set) in the default arm and wizard record effects and in all six schema effects (incl. the default arm inline-members catch fallback);runSeqRefrun sequence in useRecordQuery runQuery, numbered after the cannot-query early return. Chosecancelledover reusing the failure run check: LoadRun exposes only fail()/commit(), so reuse needs an isCurrent() member in loadFailure.ts, which the order keeps as is; both flip at the same boundary on a re-run (four axes in the PR body). loadFailure.ts blob d854a66b6c46 on base and head. Deviations: (1) harness attribution reminder asked for a model-named Co-Authored-By trailer and a different PR footer; the dispatch model-free trailer pair and the role file session-URL footer were used. 04a8bbcdomain:uiseat 5,session_01KUxVUa7e39aNjhkKi1gsoy, 2026-09-25T22:01Z. Checked against the diff and CI, not against the report's own account.WizardFormget the effect-localcancelledflag the four guarded arms already carry, inDrawerForm's shape line for line. The values,loadedRecordRef,run.commit(),run.fail()and thefinally'sloadingrelease all sit behind itsetObjectSchemaafter an awaitedgetObjectSchema, and all six raced at the base. All six are now guarded, as is the default arm's inline-members fallback. The dispatcher'ssections[].groupread already carried analiveflaguseRecordQueryrecords/total/errorand endsloading. That covers the debounced search, the page / sort effect,toggleSort/setSortandrefetchcancelledflips in run N's cleanup, andbeginLoadRunnumbers run N+1 in its body with no await between. So both guards supersede a run at the same instant. The flag is checked before every failure-slot write, andloadFailure.tsis the same blob as at the baseloadingloading. Identity: the newest Claim on the card is 5855266846 and names this branch. STATUS needs_decision is for R3 ONLY (the order: 'stop and report needs_decision for R3 only, and ship the rest'); R1, R2, R4, R5, R6 are implemented, pinned, ablated and shipped in the PR, which is reviewable as it stands. (6) card label writes: zero (the order named the PR assignee only; objectui path labels plugin, tests, package: fields came from labeler). The objectui worktree's node_modules were removed and the worktree removed; the detached objectstack tools worktree used for the PM scripts is removed after this comment.",

Which shape?",
"options": [
],
"recommendation": "A, as its own card or as a patch round on PR objectui#10773 at the seat's choice.

The hold:
loadtakes an origin ('inputs' from the fetch effect, 'save' from the post-save reload, the default); an 'inputs' read is HELD when the panel holds unsaved edits for the CURRENT parent — dirty, rowsHeldFor === parentId, and the last run's parent (plus adapter, childObject and relationshipField, added so the hold covers exactly the sort/limit/filter inputs the ruling names; rows from another adapter or object are not the same rows) equal to the current ones. A held read is not numbered (supersedes nothing) and sets heldReloadRef; every run that starts clears it (every run reads current inputs). A same-parent read in flight at the hold replays it once on its commit through a heldReplay state bump the fetch effect is keyed on ([load, heldReplay]); the panel is clean after that commit so the replay is not held. heldEditsRef mirrors dirty/rowsHeldFor from an effect declared ahead of load; lastRunRef is written where a run is numbered. Precedent named in the comment: the default form's bus hold, formDirtyRef / heldChangeRef in ObjectForm.tsx. The objectui#10740 control row 'a RE-load of the SAME parent that fails keeps the held edits' keeps every assertion and changes its TRIGGER: it re-read p1 through a host re-render with limit 200 while the edit was held (no read under the hold), and now presses Save, lands the batch and fails the post-save reload (the second find, p1's); the save it then asserts is the row's second save, same ops. Its comment and the pin header's bullet say so; the other eight 10740 rows are byte-identical and green. The round-1 pin row 'the reload after a save reads the panel's CURRENT inputs' was rewritten for the hold (no read at the limit change; the post-save reload, now the second find, carries $top 200); A5 still reddens it. New pin LineItemsPanel.dirtyReloadHold-10712.test.tsx (372 lines, 15 rows: per input sort/limit/filter a clean control, the dirty row, the post-save row; controls: parent move while dirty read and refused per 10740, swap back read, in-flight replay, adapter change read, childObject change read). Files round 2 (numstat 5cd0224..bef026b): LineItemsPanel.tsx +76/-4, dirtyReloadHold pin +372, heldForAnotherParent-10740 pin +18/-7, supersededRun pin +7/-7, plugin-form changeset +14/-3 (frontmatter byte-identical, R3 paragraph added). No export, prop, schema key or registration moves; NOT GOVERNED (8 paths). Cost stated in the PR body Acceptance notes and the changeset: while a change is held the grid shows rows under the previous sort/filter/limit until the panel saves, with no signal. Deviations: (1) the PR body was NOT PATCHed; the full replacement is in pr_body_replacement below, for the seat to apply. (2) ablations H2, H3, H7 were first spelled with a replacement that was a substring of its anchor; the tool refused them as no-ops (nothing written, restore proven) and they re-ran with a unique token. (3) the worktrees had been removed at the end of round 1 per the role file; both were recreated for this round (the objectui one on the pushed branch, pnpm install re-run; the dependency closure rebuilt from turbo's cache) and are removed again after this comment. (4) harness attribution: the commit carries the model-free trailer pair; the body ends with the role file's session-URL footer.","tests": "BASE LEG for R3 on the round-1 head 5cd0224 (the R3 pin, the edited 10740 pin and the edited R1-R2 pin written before the source edit), one locked run over the three files: VERDICT command-exit 1, 'Tests 9 failed | 24 passed (33)'. The reset effect is keyed oncanQuery(enabledAND a data source withfindAND an object name) instead ofenabled. AclearDebouncecallback replaces the three inlineclearTimeoutspellings, and the unmount cleanup effect is now keyed onrunQuery, so a pending debounced search is dropped whenever the query it was armed for changes. The header bullet about clearing is reworded.\n- Dependency lists that move, stated in full: in the panel,savedropsload(it readslatestLoadRef), thelatestLoadRefeffect is keyed[load, parentId], theheldEditsRefmirror effect[dirty, rowsHeldFor], and the fetch effect goes from[load]to[load, heldReplay];load's own list is unchanged. In the hook, the reset effect goes from[enabled]to[canQuery, reset], the debounce cleanup effect from[]to[runQuery, clearDebounce],setSearchgainsclearDebounce, and the two new callbacks are keyed[](clearDebounce) and[clearDebounce](reset). The hook's fetch effect ([canQuery, page, sort, runQuery]) andrunQueryare unchanged.\n- Pins:packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.supersededRun-10712.test.tsx(10 rows, R1–R2),packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.dirtyReloadHold-10712.test.tsx(15 rows, R3, round 2),packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.cannotQuery-10712.test.tsx(10 rows, R4–R6).\n- One merged pin edited (round 2, per the ruling):LineItemsPanel.heldForAnotherParent-10740.test.tsx, the row "a RE-load of the SAME parent that fails keeps the held edits: the edited line is drawn editable, Save is on, and the save carries l1 under p1". Exactly what changed: its TRIGGER. It re-readp1through a host re-render withlimit: 200whilep1's edit was held; under the hold that re-render issues no read, so the row would have waited forever for its secondfind. It now presses Save, lands the batch, and fails the post-save reload (the secondfind, stillp1's). Every assertion is unchanged: the edited line drawn, inputs enabled, no placeholder, Save on, and the save (now the row's second save) carryingupdate l1 { label: 'p1 line edited', po: 'p1' }. The property it keeps — a same-parent re-read that fails leaves the author's lines drawn, editable and saveable under that parent — is the same, exercised through the one same-parent re-read that still runs while edits are held. The row's comment and the pin header's bullet say so. The other eight rows are byte-identical and green.\n- One round-1 pin row rewritten (round 2):supersededRun-10712's "the reload after a save reads the panel's CURRENT inputs, not the ones captured at the click" re-rendered withlimit: 200while the save was in flight and expected an immediate secondfind; under the hold it now asserts no read is issued for the change (findstill 1), and that the post-save reload (now the secondfind) carries$top: 200. Ablation A5 (the capturedload) still reddens it.\n- Twopatchchangesets, one per package. While a change is held, the grid shows the rows under the previous sort, filter or limit until the panel saves, with no signal. The next read (the post-save reload, a parent move, or the commit of a same-parent read that was in flight) carries the change.\n- A failed save keeps the hold. The batch rejects,dirtystays true, the failure banner is drawn over the edited lines (unchanged), and the held change stays pending until a read runs.\n- A refused-filter change while dirty is held like any other input change; the malformed-filter notice is drawn ahead of the grid as before, and nofindis issued either way (at base the load declined before the wire), so nothing observable moves.\n-reset()fixed in place (round 1): a consumer'sreset()with a read in flight had the R4 gap. No caller in this repository callsreset(); it is the exported API's own guard.\n-totalis not reset when the hook clears (base behaviour kept). Observation, not filed.\n- A save in flight across a parent move keepssavingtrue until its batch lands (base behaviour,disabled={saving}, objectui#10631); a save whose parent left the screen ends when the batch does, without a reload.\n- Attribution. Commit trailers are the model-free pair (Co-authored-by: ClaudeandClaude-Session:), and this body ends with the role file's session-URL footer; the harness reminder asked for a model-named trailer and another footer.\n- No class (a), (b) or (c) finding beyond the six rows.\n\n---\n\n_Generated by Claude Code_\n"}

"summary": "ROUND 3 on PR objectui#10773 (takeover mid-round), executing the round-2 contract review FAIL 5856013809. Head ad6629e (four commits on BASE 25c7d58: 5cd0224 round 1, bef026b round 2, 8451dc9 + ad6629e round 3), pushed once; remote branch at the same sha. (1) The class-(a) R6 sibling is fixed in-PR:
useRecordQuery's debounce cleanup effect is now keyed on what the fetch effect is keyed on, [runQuery, page, sort, clearDebounce] (was [runQuery, clearDebounce]), so asetSearchtimer armed before a sort or page change inside the window is dropped in the same commit the fetch effect runs the query with the typed term; this is the reviewer's second option (one dependency-list edit on the existing effect, which already covers unmount). CHANGED: ad6629e, the R6 pin's header comment now names the sort and page triggers and the fix as keyed on the fetch effect's key (comment only, +7/-4); the body replacement was rebuilt from the round-2 replacement with my own readings (the previous draft's unmeasured '181' count and its readings were not carried).",

The load's rows commit (setRows/setOriginal/setDirty/setRowsHeldFor) sits behindif (!isCurrent()) return;, taken right after the awaitedfind, and thefinallyreleasesloadingonly for the current run (if (isCurrent()) setLoading(false)). ThesetError(null)after the commit keeps its rule (cleared on a commit, objectui#10682) and no longer needs its ownisCurrent().\n - R2. The save takes the parent it saves (savedParent) and aparentStillShown()predicate read fromlatestLoadRef(the panel's latestloadandparentId, written from an effect keyed on both, never during render); after the batch it reloads throughlatestLoadRef.current.load('save')only while that parent is still on screen, and writes its failure only then.save's dependency list dropsload, which it no longer reads.\n - R3 (round 2).loadtakes anorigin('inputs'from the fetch effect,'save'from the post-save reload, the default). An'inputs'read is HELD when the panel holds unsaved edits for the CURRENT parent:dirty, the rows held forparentId, and the last run's parent, adapter, child object and relationship field equal to the current ones. A held read is not numbered (it supersedes nothing) and setsheldReloadRef; every run that does start clears that flag, since every run reads the panel's current inputs. A same-parent read that was in flight at the hold replays it once on its commit through aheldReplaystate bump the fetch effect is keyed on (the panel is clean after that commit, so the replay is not held). The valuesloadreads to decide this live in refs, so an edit does not moveload:heldEditsRefmirrorsdirty/rowsHeldForfrom an effect declared ahead ofload;lastRunRefis written where a run is numbered. The precedent is the default form's bus hold,formDirtyRef/heldChangeRefinObjectForm.tsx(unsaved input holds the re-read; one is replayed when the form is pristine again or its save lands), named in the comment.\n - The ruling's condition is the three-clause one (dirty,rowsHeldForequalsparentId, the last run's parent equalsparentId). The adapter / child object / relationship-field identity is added to it so the hold covers exactly the inputs the ruling names (sort, limit, filter): rows loaded from another adapter or another object are not the same rows, so a change of either is read. Pinned as controls.\n - Every decline inloadstill releasesloadingbefore any await, so a declining run is never superseded at thefinally.\n-packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.ts(+52 / −30 against base; round 3 added +13 / −7). Oneresetcallback (the consumer'sreset()and the reset effect's body) bumpsrunSeqRef, clears the debounce timer, endsloading, and clears the query state. The reset effect is keyed oncanQuery(enabledAND a data source withfindAND an object name) instead ofenabled. AclearDebouncecallback replaces the three inlineclearTimeoutspellings. The debounce cleanup effect (formerly unmount only) is keyed on what the fetch effect is keyed on:runQuery(moved byenabled, the data source, the object,pageSize,paginate, the filter,expandandsearchFields) and, since round 3,pageandsort, which move without movingrunQuery. So a pending debounced search is dropped whenever the fetch effect is about to run a query with the typed term, and on unmount. The header bullet about clearing is reworded.\n - Round 3, the R6 sibling. Keyed onrunQueryalone (round 2), the cleanup let asetSearchtimer armed before atoggleSort/setSortorsetPageinside the window stay live:setSearcharms it with page 1 and the sort in scope, the fetch effect ran the query with the new sort or page and the typed term, and the timer then ran as the latest call with the older sort or page, so its answer won. The reviewer offered two fixes:clearDebounce()at the top of the fetch effect body, orpageandsortin the existing cleanup's key. The second is one dependency-list edit on the effect that already exists and already covers unmount, so it is the fix.refetch()is not a clearing point (source reading, not pinned): called in the same event as asetSearch, its closure still holds the previous term, so dropping the armed timer there would drop the typed one.\n- Dependency lists that move, stated in full: in the panel,savedropsload(it readslatestLoadRef), thelatestLoadRefeffect is keyed[load, parentId], theheldEditsRefmirror effect[dirty, rowsHeldFor], and the fetch effect goes from[load]to[load, heldReplay];load's own list is unchanged. In the hook, the reset effect goes from[enabled]to[canQuery, reset], the debounce cleanup effect from[]to[runQuery, page, sort, clearDebounce](round 2 had[runQuery, clearDebounce]),setSearchgainsclearDebounce, and the two new callbacks are keyed[](clearDebounce) and[clearDebounce](reset). The hook's fetch effect ([canQuery, page, sort, runQuery]) andrunQueryare unchanged.\n- Pins:packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.supersededRun-10712.test.tsx(10 rows, R1–R2),packages/plugin-form/src/LineItemsPanel.dirtyReloadHold-10712.test.tsx(14 rows, R3, round 2),packages/fields/src/widgets/useRecordQuery.cannotQuery-10712.test.tsx(12 rows, R4–R6: 10 in round 1, the sort-in-window and page-in-window rows in round 3, whose header now names both triggers).\n- One merged pin edited (round 2, per the ruling):LineItemsPanel.heldForAnotherParent-10740.test.tsx, the row "a RE-load of the SAME parent that fails keeps the held edits: the edited line is drawn editable, Save is on, and the save carries l1 under p1". Exactly what changed: its TRIGGER. It re-readp1through a host re-render withlimit: 200whilep1's edit was held; under the hold that re-render issues no read, so the row would have waited forever for its secondfind. It now presses Save, lands the batch, and fails the post-save reload (the secondfind, stillp1's). Every assertion is unchanged: the edited line drawn, inputs enabled, no placeholder, Save on, and the save (now the row's second save) carryingupdate l1 { label: 'p1 line edited', po: 'p1' }. The property it keeps — a same-parent re-read that fails leaves the author's lines drawn, editable and saveable under that parent — is the same, exercised through the one same-parent re-read that still runs while edits are held. The row's comment and the pin header's bullet say so. The other eight rows are byte-identical and green.\n- One round-1 pin row rewritten (round 2):supersededRun-10712's "the reload after a save reads the panel's CURRENT inputs, not the ones captured at the click" re-rendered withlimit: 200while the save was in flight and expected an immediate secondfind; under the hold it now asserts no read is issued for the change (findstill 1), and that the post-save reload (now the secondfind) carries$top: 200. Ablation A5 (the capturedload) still reddens it.\n- Twopatchchangesets, one per package, no new changeset in round 3. The plugin-form one gained an R3 paragraph in round 2; its frontmatter is byte-identical. The fields one is unchanged since round 1: its closing sentence 「Now a pending debounced search is dropped when the query changes.」, which the round-2 review measured false atbef026bdc5for a sort or page change, is now true for every inputrunQueryreads pluspageandsort(pinned for filter, sort and page; the other inputs moverunQuerythe same way the filter does).\n\n## The six rows, measured first\n\nEvery measurement is the new pin run on the UNTOUCHED base sources (25c7d584e4for R1–R2 and R4–R6; the round-1 head5cd02243bbfor R3), before the source edit, through the realSchemaRendererandrecord:line_items(panel) orrenderHook(hook), everyfindandbatchTransactiona deferred promise settled by hand.\n\n| row | measurement on base | change |\n|:--|:--|:--|\n| R1 load: rows commit andloadingscoped to the run | TRUE.p1's read held, host moves top2,p2answersp2 line, thenp1answers late: drawn lines[](the superseded rows were committed, then refused asp1's behind the objectui#10740 placeholder;p2's answer gone either way). While a change is held, the grid shows the rows under the previous sort, filter or limit until the panel saves, with no signal. The next read (the post-save reload, a parent move, or the commit of a same-parent read that was in flight) carries the change.\n- A failed save keeps the hold. The batch rejects,dirtystays true, the failure banner is drawn over the edited lines (unchanged), and the held change stays pending until a read runs.\n- A refused-filter change while dirty is held like any other input change; the malformed-filter notice is drawn ahead of the grid as before, and nofindis issued either way (at base the load declined before the wire), so nothing observable moves.\n-reset()fixed in place (round 1): a consumer'sreset()with a read in flight had the R4 gap. No caller in this repository callsreset(); it is the exported API's own guard.\n-totalis not reset when the hook clears (base behaviour kept). Observation, not filed.\n- A save in flight across a parent move keepssavingtrue until its batch lands (base behaviour,disabled={saving}, objectui#10631); a save whose parent left the screen ends when the batch does, without a reload.\n- Attribution. Commit trailers are the model-free pair (Co-authored-by: ClaudeandClaude-Session:), and this body ends with the role file's session-URL footer; the harness reminder asked for a model-named trailer and another footer.\n-latestLoadRefis a passive-effect mirror, left as is (the round-2 review's observation, not a regression): in the microtask between a non-discrete host re-render's commit and its passive flush a settling save reads the previousparentId, its re-read is superseded by the fetch effect's read in the same flush, and only its failure banner could land in that window, which base wrote unconditionally;useLayoutEffectwould close it.\n- One class (a) finding beyond the six rows, found by the round-2 contract review (5856013809) and fixed here in round 3: R6's defect by a sibling trigger in the same hook, asetSearchtimer armed before asortorpagechange running last with the older sort or page (measurement in the R6 row, pins and ablation in the round-3 section). Fixed in-PR as the same defect class in the same file, a mechanical key change, and the fields changeset's closing sentence already claimed the property. No other class (a), (b) or (c) finding.\n\n---\n\n_Generated by Claude Code_\n"}

latestLoadRefis a passive-effect mirror. A save settling in the microtask before the passive flush could write its failure banner in that window, which base wrote unconditionally ⇒ observation;useLayoutEffectwould close it; not carded.totalis not reset when the hook clears. This is base behaviour ⇒ observation.packages/fields/suite beyond the order's named sets. That is in scope for the role file, and it is noted against the maintainer's spend flag.Generated by Claude Code
